Darlene brought me out to the beach AGAIN.
I told her I was tired. Plus it is raining. She did not care. She took me there anyway.
People, I am tired and wet. Tired and wet.
I will be sure to punish Darlene later by not eating my dinner.
All this yoga is exhausting.

Saturday May 18! Rockaway Serene Yoga with Darlene! Saturdays 9-10am and Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm Saturday, May 18- $5 per class (cash or venmo). Enter the beach at Beach 126 Street and walk towards the ocean where you will happily see the yogis and me! Bring a towel, (mats are slippery on the sand) and a water bottle. After class jump into the ocean to cool off! Also, be sure to check in for class schedule changes and weather updates.

Join me on the Joyous Yoga Journey!
Last night I could not fall asleep.
I could not fall asleep because I took a nap at 5PM.
I do not recommend this napping at 5PM business. It does not work out well for the hopeful sleeping at night.

So, it is yesterday. I crawl out of the nap bed at 6PM.
I think, "I really needed that. I feel great!"
I go downstairs to make some dinner. I start to make the dinner and Best Friend calls me.

Last night I could not fall asleep. I could not fall asleep because I took a nap at 5PM. I do not recommend this napping at 5PM business. It does not work out well for the hopeful sleeping at night....

This is me! Darlene of Rockawayserene! I am grateful, gleaming and, ok, slightly giddy to be teaching yoga on the beach. I have been practicing for 23 years and teaching for 12. Growing up, the beach was my happy place. My yoga practice became my second happy place. I hope you will join me at Beach 126 to feel the yoga magic happen right here on the sand!
