More and more biology information is coming online, so I think that it is important for people to have somewhere to go where they are not overwhelmed. I have also found there are not many places for people to ask questions about where to find information on the Internet. Therefore, I think that answering questions serves an important function and I hope to be able to provide this service again in the future. At the moment, it is I alone running page , so my aspirations are rather modest! I am not making any money from the site, but neither am I spending much. Someday I might look for a corporate sponsor, which would allow me to expand the site. I am glad that Cell & Molecular Biology Online turned out to be such a useful resource for both students and researchers. The steady amount of feedback I have received has made it possible to keep the web site fresh and current. I hope that page will continue to be a useful place for molecular biologists to visit!

اندوکاردیت Endocarditis

آندوکاردیت (به انگلیسی: Endocarditis) یا التهاب درون‌شامه قلب به معنی استقرار و تکثیر عامل عفونی در سطح داخلی قلب (آندوکارد ) و دریچه‌ها می‌باشد. اندوکاردیت باکتریایی بیماری خطرناک و گاه کشنده‌ای است .

زگیل تناسلی (کوندیلوما آکومیناتا Condylomata acuminata) همراه عفونت با ویروس پاپیلومای انسانی به وجود می‌آید (ویروس HPV از ویروس‌های DNAدار).

این بیماری تقریبا شایع بوده معمولاً از راه جنسی منتقل می‌شود (تماس پوست با پوست آلوده). تیپ‌های ۶ و ۱۱ این ویروس مسئول ۹۰٪ موارد کوندیلوما هستند. درمان معمول از بین بردن ضایعات با روشهایی مانند لیزر CO۲، نیتروژن مایع و فتودینامیک تراپی با آمینولولونیک اسید می‌باشد. میزان عود ضایعات بالاست. اینترفرون آلفا نیز در درمان بکار می‌رود.
اچ.پی.وی به قدری شایع است که بیش از نیمی از انسان‌های از نظرِ جنسی فعال، در مقطعی از زندگی دچارش می‌شوند.
