⚠️ ⚠️ 🚨‼️

Falls from height should always be treated as high-impact trauma.

Well-intentioned bystanders often try to “help” by moving the victim quickly ,but improper handling can cause secondary spinal cord injury, turning a potentially reversible condition into permanent paralysis.

Always assume a cervical spine injury until proven otherwise.
Avoid unnecessary movement, stabilize the head and neck, and call for emergency services immediately.

🐟 Feseekh & Renga: Tasty Tradition… but at what cost?

في مواسم زي شم النسيم، بيكون الفسيخ والرنجة جزء أساسي من الاحتفال… لكن لازم نفهم المخاطر الطبية ورا الأكلة دي 👀

🧠 طب إيه الفرق؟
- Feseekh (الفسيخ): سمك بوري متخمر heavily salted & fermented
- Renga (الرنجة): smoked herring → أقل خطورة نسبيًا

---

⚠️ أخطر complication:
🚨 Botulism

- سببه bacteria اسمها Clostridium botulinum
- بتفرز neurotoxin خطير جدًا
- بيحصل غالبًا مع الفسيخ
---

🧬 Pathophysiology (ببساطة):
The toxin blocks acetylcholine release at neuromuscular junction →
➡️ leads to flaccid paralysis

---

😷 Clinical Picture:
Symptoms usually start within 12–36 hours

- Double vision (Diplopia)
- Ptosis 👁️
- Dysphagia & dysarthria
- Progressive descending paralysis
- ممكن يوصل لـ respiratory failure 😰

---

🏥 Emergency Management:
Botulism = MEDICAL EMERGENCY

- ICU admission
- Airway support (ممكن يحتاج ventilator)
- Administration of antitoxin ASAP

🤢 مشاكل تانية أقل خطورة:
- Food poisoning (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea)
- High salt → ↑ blood pressure ⚠️
- Not recommended for cardiac or renal patients

---

✅ How to stay safe:
- اشتري من trusted sources فقط
- Avoid homemade or unknown preparation
- لو في شك في الطعم أو الريحة → DON’T EAT IT ❌
- الرنجة safer but still moderation is key
