Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a chronic skin condition characterized by inflammation, itchiness, and the development of red, dry, and irritated skin patches. It is not present at birth, but rather tends to manifest during infancy or early childhood. While it commonly begins
in childhood, it can still persist into adulthood.
Taking care of our sensitive skin involves a combination of preventive measures and daily care routines such as:
- Hydration
- Avoiding certain triggers that cause our eczema flare-ups
- Picking the right clothing material for our skin
- Temperature and humidity
- Stress management
- Using the right soaps and cleansers that are easy on our skin
