Join Let’s Talk Healing (LTH) and Bridge & Bloom for the first annual Diaspora Mental Health Forum on September 13th!

This forum is designed to empower all immigrant communities. We believe knowledge is power, especially concerning mental well-being. Our work at LTH, particularly with East African communities, has consistently highlighted the pervasive issue of mental health misinformation. This fuels stigma, leading to silence and isolation across many immigrant groups.

Our commitment is unwavering: we’re here to dismantle these barriers by providing accurate, culturally sensitive information. We want to break the stigma that prevents so many from seeking vital help.

🫂♥️This isn’t just our forum; it’s OUR collective space for all diasporic communities. We need YOUR voices, questions, and experiences. Let’s learn together and build stronger, more resilient communities.

Greetings everyone! Please see the updated flyer for our free weekly support group for mothers in the disability community in collaboration with Maangaar Voices, a parent-led initiative. Please be advised that to join the support group, you must complete the registration. We had our first meeting last week, and it is evident that there is a need for spaces like this in the community! Please assist mothers in your network in completing the registration so they have a safe place to learn, grow, and connect with other parents! Please see the link below!- Dr. Bashir
