Earlier this month, on Veterans Day, members of NGHS's We Honor Veterans Committee and Hospice & In-Home-Palliative Care team volunteers delivered handmade afghans to veterans at 10 facilities across north Georgia. Veterans also received cards, handwritten notes from students, and keychains. In addition, NGHS recognized nearly 400 employees who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

As a Level 5 We Honor Veterans partner, Hospice of NGMC provides veteran-to-veteran support, pinning ceremonies, and resources tailored to veterans' needs. We are grateful for every veteran on our team and in our community.
