Great news! 🎉 The Lottery Individuals with Disabilities Fund is now open for applications. This fund provides support for equipment that helps people participate, contribute, and connect with their communities.

This can include:
🐕 Assistance dogs
💬 Communication equipment
🚐 Vehicles & modifications
🛵 Scooters and mobility equipment

We’re excited to share that WIDance is bringing a special pilot workshop to the Hutt Valley THIS weekend!

This workshop is a chance to experience the joy of movement, connect with others, and be part of an encouraging and creative community.

About WIDance:
WIDance offers community dance classes, workshops, and performance opportunities across the Wellington region for people of all ages, with and without disabilities. Our classes are inclusive, safe, and fun – designed to support participants in reaching their full potential through contemporary dance, improvisation, and composition.

Special Children's Christmas Party 2025 - age 3-12

Saturday, Nov 29, 2025 at The Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua, and runs from 11.30am until 2pm.
The event is as always free, and entry is by invitation only.
Apply for tickets before 17 October.

The party is for children with challenges, there can be many different reasons, including but not limited to disability, illness or home circumstances. It is a fantastic few hours of fun with entertainment, many activities, food and of course gifts – every child attending will receive 2 or 3 high quality prezzies.

The party is an invitation only event, one invitation entitles one child plus parent / caregiver to attend the day (the accompanying adult does not require an invitation)
