You should be outraged.

A black woman was murdered and the killers were set free. A black woman was killed in her SLEEP and the killers are home free.

Heartbroken isn’t the word; it’s not even fitting.

You should be outraged, you should be upset. This is NOT right and this SHOULD NOT be. Breonna should be here. She deserved justice.

Today marks the first birthday of my first born brainchild, ConcussionBeGone.com.🌟(I’m dramatic I know)

The road to just launching wasn’t easy, I was nervous that I wasn’t qualified to be speaking on traumatic brain injuries because I wasn’t a doctor, I was nervous that no one would read or use my website, I was nervous that people would make fun of the name or judge me lol. Which in essence, were all plausible outcomes BUT, didn’t matter!

None of these things mattered because the dream that had been placed inside of me and you too, is there for a divine purpose. Your dreams and visions for the future are intentional, they’re real if you realize the power that you have in creating them. But, the hardest part you’ll find, is to simply get out of your own way and start.

It is scary, but most definitely worth the ride.🥂

TRUST & PATIENCE
The two go hand in hand, especially for brain injury recovery. In order to be patient it requires a great deal amount of trust and faith that your situation will turn around for the better. Concussion recovery is like walking through the wilderness blindfolded, you must have some level of trust, faith, and patience to make it through.

Today I want to highlight the importance of being PERSISTENT in brain injury recovery. Sometimes and I know most times for me i often felt like I wanted to give up. I didn’t want to go on anymore, but there was this tiny voice inside that told me to try again tomorrow. That tiny voice speaking to me, I believe, was the ounce of hope that I had within myself that believed I would recover.
Find that voice, and listen to it. Never give up, it isn’t easy but it is worth it.
