What a great group at last night’s learning circle about medicinal herb gardening! Thanks all for bringing your curiosity and enthusiasm! Nikola led us through a process of mapping our yards using permaculture principles. We explored herbs for the home garden - with lots of sniffing and stroking of plants! Lots of people went home with seeds and yarrow plants! 🌱 Big ❤️ to for the beautiful space and event support!

Happiness is…harvesting Violet flowers on a cool spring day! Violet syrup is now underway - added boiling water to make a flower infusion, which should turn dark purple overnight. Stay tuned for syrup-making part 2!

It's a new season of exploring herbal medicine; let us introduce ourselves!

I'm Nikola . I'm most passionate about the intersection between human health and the health of the land, and how we can engage in this space. My background is in organic/regenerative farming and community-based herbalism. I ran an herb farm for 5 years and now offer private consultations as a certified herbalist, and as a certified permaculture designer.

I'm Heather .earth.remedies. I love growing herbs and making medicines, and supporting people to connect to plants through their hearts and intuition. I have a background in organic farming, reflexology, personal healing, and collaborative living.

Together, we're offering fun, hands-on workshops in practical herbalism and plant connection in KW, as well as herbal products!

I'm helping spread the word about this 4-day Plant Initiation with Wendy Redfern, May 2-5, near Cambridge Ontario.

Estudios recientes realizados por el “Institute of Heart-Math” proporcionan una pista para explicar la" curación "bidireccional que ocurre cuando estamos cerca de los caballos. Según los investigadores, el corazón tiene un campo electromagnético más grande que el cerebro: un magnetómetro puede medir el campo de energía del corazón que irradia desde 2.4 metros hasta 3 metros alrededor del cuerpo humano.
