I feel like people are a bit leery of my new page and I can totally understand this. So let me tell you a little about myself. I am an LPN of 30+ years with experience in many different areas of nursing. At this point, after hoping to get an RN years ago, I’d love to just retire as one. I’ve grown a lot and now in my 50s I’d like to consider myself somewhat more emotionally mature. If I could change one thing about healthcare work environments it would be the lack of empathy I’ve seen in staff toward one another. And I realize I have been guilty of the same! If the page helps even one person after a bad shift, losing a position, etc. I’ll consider it a win. Thanks for reading and I hope this maybe makes people feel a little better about my intentions.
