FERMENTATION DAY!!!
Yes, it's not the traditional method of using a crock, but it's SO much easier! Started both Salsa Verde and Sauerkraut using delicious organic vegetables from my Late Bloom Farm CSA. It's been a few years since I've done any fermentation and I'm really looking forward to enjoying it Good for my digestion, immunity and mood! (Because yummy things make me happy!)
I'll cover it with a towel and leave it be, taking a p*ek each day to be sure everything looks ok (and because I think it's fun to watch the air locks bubble).
Sometimes it's the little things...a nice distraction. Be well! 🌹
