📣Tobacco compliance checks were performed in West Fargo on Monday, August 11, 2025. In total, 13 businesses were checked and 12 passed, resulting in a 92% compliance rate.

appreciates the cooperation of the business communities across Cass County. Several times per year, FCPH partners with local law enforcement agencies to carry out to***co compliance checks in Fargo, West Fargo, and Cass County. The intent of the checks is to ensure to***co retailers are not selling any to***co products to minors. Licensed to***co retailers are encouraged to periodically review City Ordinances and state laws related to the sale of to***co products and to include this important information in training for new employees.

West Fargo business that failed:
• Exxon – 950 13th Avenue East – first fail in one year

Penalties in West Fargo:
• First violation – written warning and one-year probation
• Second failure during probationary period – three-day suspension of the to***co license
• Third failure during probationary period – ten-day suspension of the to***co license
• Subsequent violations during probationary period – 30-day suspension of the to***co license
