This is a 2005 Mercury Optimax 200HP 25" shaft outboard. This motor has perfect compression and has been completely gone through. This is what has been done:

New water pump and upper gear case seals
New thermostats
New anodes
New fuel filter and air filter
New spark plugs
Cleaned air and fuel injectors
New alternator and compressor belt
New poppet valve
New high pressure fuel pump
Cleaned VST
New VST fuel booster pump
New fuel, air and tracker valves on fuel rails
Rest of motor serviced

Comes with stainless prop
1530 hours

1999 Mercury 25 HP two stroke 15" shaft tiller handle motor. The motor has only been used in fresh water. Powerhead has just been rebuilt with new pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets and seals. Carburetor and fuel pump rebuilt. Motor has all new spark plugs, fuel lines and fuel filter. The water pump replaced along with gear oil in gearcase. Motor has brand new propeller and hardware. The motor is in excellent running condition. Comes with new six gallon fuel tank, Mercury fuel line and stop switch lanyard. $1,700.00 reasonable offers considered. Call Alan

Very frustrated trying to repower a 209 Gambler with a 250SS DF250TLSS4. On Thursday corporate customer service at Suzuki Marine told me prop 990C0-00940-31P would be correct for my motor so I ordered a new one online and received it yesterday. It looks totally Wrong!!!

The OD of the barrel is 3.963" yet the ID of the lower is 4.40. this makes a 1/4" gap between the hub and the inside of the lower circumference. I am concerned it is going to wash exhaust gas around the outside of the prop and it will not work.

Not certain why I would see this. Maybe there was a change along the way and Suzuki changed the lower? Maybe this is an old prop and the part number remained the same on a new design? maybe there is a collar for it? Who knows?

Is anyone out there with a new 250SS and this prop or a 990C0-00630-30P that can measure the OD of the barrel please. I'm lucky I don't drink anymore, or I would be having a few already this morning.
