Over one MILLION women in the U.S. are entering this year... and yet the resources and research for midlife are bafflingly scarce. Is it any wonder so many feel unprepared for the hormonal shifts that shape not only fertility, but also mood, sleep, metabolism, and heart health? 🌙✨

I want to be clear here: Herbs do not “replace” hormones, but many plants contain and that gently support balance. Red clover may help alleviate hot flashes, vitex (chaste berry) can regulate menstrual cycles, shatavari nourishes reproductive vitality, maca boosts energy and libido, tulsi soothes stress, and milk thistle supports liver-driven hormone detoxification. 🌿

We don’t look to our allies to override biology. What’s beautiful about plants is that they can nudge us toward harmony. Before exploring botanical options, a lifestyle centered on rest, nourishment, and nervous system care is a crucial foundation. It is possible to navigate each hormonal chapter with resilience and ease. 🌺

What herbal  harmonizers have you found most supportive?

When you constantly dismiss your own needs, it feels normal when other people do the same. When you your feelings, it feels familiar when someone else doesn’t want to hear them either. When you break promises to yourself, it almost makes sense when others don’t follow through on theirs.

The way you treat yourself becomes the standard. It happens so subtly that you don’t even realize you’re teaching other people how to show up for you.

When you begin keeping small promises to yourself, and allow yourself to rest without guilt, when you say no even though it feels uncomfortable, when you stop abandoning your own needs to make others comfortable, your nervous system registers safety. It starts to trust that you’ll listen, that you’ll protect it, that you’ll care for it.

Once your body learns you won’t betray it, you stop accepting betrayal from others too. You set different boundaries. You attract different dynamics.

Are you taking supplements without a clear strategy?!

Most people are. But not all supplements matter equally, and without a plan, you’re likely wasting time and money.

That’s why I use a hierarchy. It’s not about taking more. It’s about taking the right things, in the right order, based on biological need and data.

→ Start here:
Over 60% of people worldwide are deficient in at least one essential nutrient. In the U.S., 61% fall short on magnesium, 90% on omega-3s, and 25% on vitamin D. These gaps affect mitochondrial function, immune health, inflammation, and cognition.

❗ Magnesium: linked to poor sleep, anxiety, insulin resistance
❗ Omega-3s: associated with brain fog, high triglycerides, mood issues
❗ Vitamin D: essential for immune function and bone health, especially in women 40+

Correct these before adding performance or anti-aging compounds. Otherwise, you’re building on quicksand.

→ Support tier is often skipped. Poor stomach acid or gut dysbiosis can block nutrient absorption. Zinc, selenium, fiber, and enzymes support the basics where multivitamins fall short.

→ Performance enhancers like Rhodiola, beta-alanine, and L-theanine only work if your foundation is solid. Beta-alanine boosts muscle carnosine by ~60% in 4 weeks. Rhodiola improves endurance and mental stamina under stress.

→ Targeted support like NAC, glucosamine, and citrulline should follow labs or symptoms. These are condition-specific tools, not daily essentials.

→ Advanced compounds like NMN, BPC-157, and spermidine are promising but need lab context and quality sourcing. They are not magic bullets.

Start from the ground up. That’s how you build real, lasting energy.

What’s one supplement you’ve taken that didn’t live up to the hype?

Just nine days without added — the kind of found in sodas, juices, and — can begin to reverse liver damage, according to a study published in Gastroenterology by researchers at Touro University and UC San Francisco.

In the study, children and teens who cut out added fructose saw a 20% reduction in liver in just over a week. Crucially, the change wasn’t due to — participants lost less than 1% of their body weight—proving that the benefit came directly from eliminating fructose.

Fatty disease among youth has more than doubled over the past 20 years, contributing to insulin resistance and raising the risk of Type 2 diabetes and heart disease. The trial focused on obese Latino and African-American adolescents—groups with some of the highest added-sugar consumption. They swapped out fructose-heavy foods for starchy, glucose-based alternatives, while keeping their total calorie intake the same.

After just nine days, MRI scans revealed significant drops in liver fat and improvements in insulin sensitivity—showing how rapidly the body can respond to even small dietary changes.

Researchers say reducing national fructose intake, even modestly, could dramatically cut healthcare costs by lowering the burden of metabolic diseases. The takeaway? You don’t need to overhaul your life—just ditch the added sugar, and your liver will thank you.

Parasites 🪱thrive when your defenses are down and your diet is crappy - especially when serotonin and glucose spike (yep, think sugar / carb cravings too).

This is the perfect time to load up on antiparasitic foods. You don’t need to overhaul your entire - just be strategic. Rotate a few of these into daily, especially when you notice or carb cravings intensifying.

Papaya seeds – Start with ½ tsp, increase to 1 tsp. Blend into smoothies or chew raw.

Pineapple, ginger, turmeric, fennel, raw carrots – Easy to add to meals or juices.

Cloves, wormwood, black walnut – Better in tincture or capsule form, follow product dosing!

Don’t forget - add ACV to your meals to support and detox. And rotate your foods! Diversity is key. Parasites adapt fast, but your terrain and are king!

Do you ever feel off… and have NO idea why?

Symptoms like low energy, headaches, joint aches, digestive issues, and mood changes often seem random, but they’re usually your body’s way of signaling an underlying imbalance.

While many factors contribute to how we feel (sleep, stress, and movement, etc) DIET is the most overlooked piece of the puzzle. Unlike food allergies, food sensitivities are often delayed, making it difficult to connect what you ate with how you feel hours or even days later.

By paying attention to these subtle but important signals, you can start to make meaningful changes that support your overall well-being.

Inflammation shows up everywhere, in our skin, joints, mood, digestion, and even how we age. And it’s often silent.

These infused waters are one of my favorite low-effort, high-reward habits.
They’re soothing, gentle, and full of herbs, fruits, and minerals your body actually recognizes.

A few slices, a pinch, a steep — and your water becomes a daily detox, circulation booster, or digestive reset.

This week, try one a day and feel the shift:
✓ less puffiness
✓ better digestion
✓ more glow
✓ calmer body

✨Do these daily and see how it helps you with bloating, skin dullness, and even mood swings!

(Thank you • )

Your body never lies.

Your skin, your posture, your muscle tone, even the coating on your tongue…these are diagnostic tools.

They’re reflections of your internal biology.

Skin mirrors the liver because your liver is your primary organ. When it’s overwhelmed (by sugar, alcohol, processed foods, or environmental toxins) you might see breakouts, dullness, rashes, or premature aging. Beauty creams won’t fix what a clean diet can.

Posture reflects fascia, the connective tissue influenced by inflammation, hydration, and movement. A slouched posture often indicates stress, sedentary habits, or chronic pain.

Fat distribution is hormonal. Belly fat: Think insulin and cortisol. Thigh and hip fat: Think estrogen. Every bite of either balances your or throws them into chaos.

Jaw structure and airway are shaped by from infancy. A diet low in nutrients and high in soft processed foods can narrow the airway, weaken the jaw, and affect sleep, oxygenation, and even facial development.

Fluid retention signals lymphatic congestion. Your system depends on hydration, movement, and anti-inflammatory foods. Puffy eyes and bloating are red flags.

The tongue mirrors the gut. A coated tongue may indicate dysbiosis, an imbalance in your microbiome. Your gut health shows up in your breath, your digestion, your cravings, and your skin.

Muscle tone is a proxy for mitochondrial health and longevity. Sarcopenia (muscle loss) is one of the earliest signs of biological aging. The more you maintain, the younger your cells behave.

Every in your body is built from the food you eat.
Your blood, your skin, your brain, your hormones, it’s all constructed from nutrients you either give your body... or don’t.

Appearance matters: not as a measure of beauty, but as a reflection of biology. Your body is always speaking.

Start listening.
