Trying to find meal options that may not trigger your CSD symptoms can be a bit overwhelming. When planning your next lunch, try this delicious recipe for Greek yogurt chicken salad! Not only is this recipe tasty, but it’s also packed with protein and low in fats and sugar, making it CSD-friendly.

GREEK YOGURT CHICKEN SALAD RECIPE

Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ cup of nonfat Greek yogurt
3 celery stalks (peeled, steamed, and finely chopped)
½ tsp of curry powder
Salt and pepper

Directions
1. Lightly season the chicken with salt.
2. In a large pan or pot, cover the chicken with water and bring to a boil.
3. Cover and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 15–20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
4. Remove the chicken from the liquid and let it cool.
5. Using 2 forks, pull apart the chicken to shred it. Set aside.
6. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt and curry powder. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
7. Combine the chicken, celery, and curry-yogurt sauce. Toss gently.
8. Serve on bread with lettuce for a sandwich or on crackers for a snack.

When dealing with CSD, it's best not to consume foods that are high in sugar. However, if you're craving a sweet treat, why not make a citrusy, CSD-friendly frozen yogurt!

MANGO LIME FROZEN YOGURT RECIPE

Ingredients
2 cups of frozen mango
1 Tbsp of honey
1/2 cup of nonfat plain yogurt
1 Tbsp of fresh lime juice
1 tsp of fresh lime zest

Directions
1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender.
2. Blend for about 3 minutes or until smooth.
3. Scrape the sides of the bowl and blend for 2 more minutes.
4. Transfer mixture into an airtight, freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 6 hours.
5. Store in freezer for up to 1 month.

When dealing with CSD, community is more important than ever. You shouldn't navigate this journey alone, which is why it's important to talk with your doctor about additional treatment options, and also to connect with friends and family and lean on them for support. Welcome to the Dazzle Diner, where we provide you with fun, delicious CSD-friendly recipes.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but finding a breakfast option that doesn't have a lot of sugar can be a challenge when managing your CSD symptoms. Try this simple-yet-delicious, low-sugar French toast recipe, and be sure to visit our feed for other Dazzle Diner specials!

QUICK CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST RECIPE

Ingredients
4 eggs
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp of nutmeg
1 cup of nonfat milk
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 Tbsp of canola oil
8 slices of white bread
Pinch of salt

Directions
1. In a shallow dish, whisk eggs, spices, milk, vanilla, and salt together until well combined.
2. In a large skillet, heat the canola oil over medium heat.
3. Coat both sides of bread in the egg and milk mixture, one slice at a time.
4. Place each slice carefully in the skillet and cook on medium heat until toast is golden brown (about 3 minutes).
5. Flip and repeat on the other side.
6. Remove from heat and set aside.
7. Repeat with the other slices.
8. Serve with your favorite pureed fruit.
