Greetings VALID-DC Family. Thank ya’ll so much for sticking with me through all these years (Almost a decade). VALID-DC was not only about fashion but making a connection with people THROUGH FASHION/PHOTOGRAPHY. It represented who I am as I was going through life trying to figure myself out after the lost of my grandmother. Now the brand lives in the heart of HEALING CHAMPION.

For years I’ve been searching for love in the finer things and through my life experiences I’ve realized that the finer things are: Love, Gratitude, Family, Friends, Life & Health! There are some changes made to this page in order to move further in the right direction. The projects that I have in STORE for ya’ll is going to be epic! Especially for the VALID-DC supporters!

As much as I would like to drop the gems all at once, it’s important to do things strategically so that everything flows w/ grace. Ya’ll won’t be disappointed. Lets keep winning, lets keep healing

For those who was wondering if I was doing a second annual BREAST CANCER WALK this Sunday @ prospect Park the answer is yes. It was last minute because I had business ventures in Florida but plans changed. Like this post if your going to attend the walk w/ VALID-DC this year!!!

Good morning fb friends, family and supporters of VALID-DC. Yesterday night i heard some news that i wasn't in the right state of mind to post but its something I want to share. Ernestine Tina Lewis (left side of the pic) was a woman i met a little over a year ago who's one of the most humble and strong women i've ever met in my lifetime. She was a breast cancer survivor and someone who admire my work. Aside from my grandmother passing away from cancer, she became another reason why i wanted to do the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. When she spoke to me, her words of wisdom and encouragement made me realize when things are not going my way, never give up. I remember having doubt because I wasn't seeing the progress that i wanted, i felt i wasn't getting anywhere and she said; "Instead of focusing on how far you still have to go,take some time today to remind yourself how far you've already come." Ms Ernestine made me this nice bracelet to show me her appreciation in what I do and it made me feel good inside with a smile that kept the sun shining and yesterday her sun set. This is a difficult time for me because I became so attached and its hard to see her leave this world but to God we belong and to him is our return. I also want Kenyon Voltron Walker (The son of ernestine) to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
