Yoga Worry Away became a dream so I could possibly help others who suffer with mental illness and chronic unhappiness. It is a combination of yoga practice, philosophy and meditation techniques, teachings from many wonderful yoga teachers, and many inspiring books I have read. All of this organically grew into fruition as I began to take control of my own personal mental health challenges. I like many others felt the hopelessness and darkness of depression and how difficult it is to overcome severe depression. I know first hand that my normal is not full of happiness and energy but instead filled with exhaustion with trying to manage my up's and down's in my life. There is more to life that is not particularly sad but not particularly happy, felling that you are just getting through the day. I knew that I was the only one who could get out of bed and put one step in front of the other and find a way to heal my life.

Chair Yoga is a wonderful yoga addition to your yoga practice that fits each individual in their own body, whether that body is larger, aging, or living with illness or injury.

You will explore using the chair as a base for stillness, strength, softness, and stability, as well as how to offer safe ways to adapt to a new awareness of benefits from the practice. Feel stronger and more flexible!

The yoga patio under the willow tree’s have inspired a few poems lately. This is one I wrote yesterday.

Under the Willow Tree I let Go
By Georgina Kyllo

As I rested in savasana on my yoga mat that day
I gazed up into the branches below the willow tree.
My daughters voice guiding me
to release, breathe in, breath out.
My breath soft and so calm
My body feeling lighter at ease.
The branches widened with a soft breeze, inhaling
and leaves gathered back in ,my exhale.
I felt as if the earth was holding me
telling me in her own way that I am loved.
I felt more ease, and more peace
I smiled a little, sighed then
Closed my eyes
and let go.

I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt thanks to Ruth Gibbard for stepping in and covering my Yoga classes.

As some of you may know, I’ve been navigating some challenges with depression and am currently adjusting my medication. It’s been a tough journey, but I’m hopeful to return to teaching soon.

At this time I cannot express how much gratitude I have to Ruth Gibbard who has covered my classes. As many of you know I live with depression and at this time I am experiencing an adjustment with my medication. It has been challenging and a struggle. I hope to be back teaching soon and express my appreciation for all of your understanding.❤️
