I am Dr. Doaa Ismail, I embrace Holistic nutritional medicine, healing and Yoga that acknowledges the unity of the mind, body, and spirit; empowering you feel your best by tuning into your inner wisdom. I empower women, and the men in their lives, explore their personal wellness journey through accepting and loving themselves, appreciating their bodies, discovering how to best nourish their u

nique body and improve their energy, mood and movement. You will become more attuned to your internal cues of hunger and fullness, stop yoyo dieting, release food guilt and shame, reduce cravings, emotional eating and enjoy a nourishing, joyful, and peaceful relationship with food and your body. Our body is the miracle that can heal itself if given half a chance. If you break a bone, as a doctor, I line it up, but it’s your body that has the power to form the bone callus and heal that broken bone. I will help you get your power back, heal yourself and reclaim your health and happiness. You will live your true purpose and regain balance in all areas of your life. I am here to support you in a warm and nurturing environment that radiates light, love, and gratitude. About me
I am a mother of two amazing children that fill my life with so much joy. I am also a Medical Doctor, Clinical Nutrition Consultant, Holistic Health Coach, Certified Behavioral Change Therapist, 200 RYT Yoga Teacher and Registered Dietician, with over 20 years of experience. When I am not working I enjoy reading, writing, dancing, meditating, and sitting quietly listening to the sounds of the earth. Through my practice in the Medical field, I was taught to treat the disease, not the whole person. By shifting from the traditional disease-centered practice of medicine to a patient-centered approach, I have helped hundreds of women lose weight, improve their digestion, strengthen their immune system, balance their hormones, reverse their autoimmune disease, find more focus and clarity, experience better sleep and feel energized. I am passionate about helping people reconnect with their sense of who they are, nourishing their body with whole real food and finding their true purpose in life. Taking everything that I have learned over this 20 year journey and applying it in my life and others’ lives has been the best, and most challenging, part of my life. I found empowerment, inspiration, strength, joy and connection. In my wellness journey, I learned how to become the best version of myself. This is what I want for you. Breaking free is not about escaping who we are or what we've been through. It's about embracing our past, learning from it, and using it as a springboard for growth and transformation. It's about recognizing that we are not defined by our past, but by the choices we make in the present. This lemon rosemary chicken is insanely delicious, unbelievably tender and super easy to make. And the best part? It’s super healthy, so you can enjoy this dish GUILT-FREE!

The tangy burst of the lemon juice pairs perfectly with the aromatic rosemary and juicy chicken - making for a mouth watering meal that will leave you craving more! So, grab your ingredients and give it a shot! Your taste buds will thank you!


——————— R E C I P E ———————

Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 190°C.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and rosemary.
3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Pour the lemon and rosemary mixture over the chicken, making sure it's evenly coated.
5. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
6. Serve with your favorite side dish.
7. Garnished with fresh rosemary, lemon wedges, pomegranate seeds and enjoy!

This chicken freekeh is like a big warm hug🤍 It’s packed with nutrients and flavors of comforting spices, toasted nuts and herbs. Pairs perfectly with cucumbers in yogurt salad and tabouleh, for a complete wholesome meal✨

————————R E C I P E————————

~I N G R E D I E N T S~

* 1.5 cup freekeh
* 1 whole chicken (1.5kg)
* 1 yellow onion (peeled and chopped fine)
* 2 cloves minced garlic
* 3 tbsp lemon juice
* 1/2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
* 1 tbsp cinnamon
* 1 tbsp dried za’atar
* 3 cups chicken broth
* 2 medium eggplants, cubed
* 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
* 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds
* 1/4 cup raisins
* 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
* 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
* 1 tbsp chopped fresh Cilantro

~M E T H O D~

1. Sauté onions in olive oil till translucent. Stir in freekeh, cinnamon, and raisins. Cook for 5 minutes then set aside
2. Preheat the oven to 190°C
3. Rub the eggplant cubes with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Roast for about 25 minutes till tender. Set aside
4. Meanwhile, place the chicken in a large ovenproof dish with sides. Season with zaatar, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses and olive oil
5. Roast the chicken for 50 mins. Remove from oven, add the freekeh around it and pour the broth
6. Put back in the oven and cook for about 30 mins; check to make sure the freekeh isn’t drying out – top up with boiling broth if needed
7. When cooked; the chicken juices should run clear, and the freekeh is tender with the broth absorbed
8. Rest the chicken for 10 mins
9. Mix the freekeh with roasted eggplant cubes, pomegranate seeds, toasted almonds and chopped fresh greens. Transfer to a serving dish and place the rested chicken in the middle
10. Garnish with extra toasted nuts, pomegranate seeds and greens. Serve and enjoy✨
