Today was such a beautiful kickoff for Child Abuse Prevention Month at City Hall! 💙
We heard so many wonderful speakers—from the Mayor Ecklund to PJ Wendell and the inspiring Justice for All students at JHS, to Diana from the Salvation Army and Saraden Randall from CAP Safe Harbour: Chautauqua County
It takes a dedication to support children who have experienced or witnessed violence, and these agencies do so much for our county.

We need our advocates now more than ever!

Chautauqua County is strengthening public safety with a new offender accountability program funded through the NYS DCJS STRIVE Grant. 💼⚖️

This initiative brings evidence-based strategies, like the Strength at Home model, directly into the community, helping individuals take responsibility, build healthier behaviors, and reduce reoffending. By combining accountability with access to support services, the program promotes safer, stronger communities for all. 🤝🏡

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Mayor Kimberly Ecklund and the City of Jamestown for their continued support of Project Crossroads.
Because of this, we are able to host high-impact exhibits like the Silent Witness Exhibit in highly visible spaces like City Hall. These silhouettes serve as a powerful reminder of our mission and a call to action for our entire community.
It may be small but it's impactful!
More exciting news!

The Kickoff for Child Abuse Prevention Month in Jamestown.

When: Tomorrow, April 1st, at 1:15 PM (Rain or Shine)
Where: Jamestown City Hall

The Silent Witnesses will be available for viewing during the kickoff as we stand together for our city’s children.

Following the ceremony, all will plant a Pinwheels garden at City Hall and walk over to Jamestown Public Schools to plant the second Pinwheel Gardens alongside the "Justice for All" students.

This is what a community does—we show up, we speak out, and we protect!
