I am a happy-go-lucky ankle biting paralyzed dog. My mom wants to help educate how us special needs pups can have fun too! I was so knotty, lol! WE WILL SEE!!!
In May 2010 I was picked up off the side of the road by a nice man who took me to the vet who takes care of his big doggies, he couldn't keep me but knew that I needed extra special care. When he walked in with me wrapped up in a towel I first set eyes on my momma who was there at work and had her oldest fur-baby (my sister Daizey) there for an exam because her lymph nodes were all swollen (uh oh- whole nother story). Anyhow, she took me from the nice man being careful with me since they didnt know then that Id been paralyzed for quite some time already and told the receptionists not to call animal services (forget hospital policy!) she took me home! It took a few baths by mommys friend/groomer to get all the fleas off me and when she shaved me all my hair came off in almost one piece! She gave me lots of yucky medicine to get rid of my buggies in my tummy and to heal my feet because the tops were missing- I drug myself a long way... And when I got healthy they knocked me out and took my girl parts! I was NOT a happy camper waking up! Now I play with my sister Tinker the bichon who is 8 yrs old and Brewster the shih tzu who is about to have his 1 st birthday. I chase geese and cows on my grandpa and grandmas farm and am pretty darn fast in and out of my cart! RECENTLY my tail has started wagging with mommy increased my dose of an Nrf2 activator so we went to see another vet who thinks she can do acupuncture and laser therapy and maybe I can start peeing and pooing on my own- and MAYBE even walk!!!!
