Earlier today, Officials Madame Professer Pearl Gopaul, Principal and Mr Pravin Gopaul, Vice Principal of The Trinidad & Tobago College of Therapeutic Massage & Beauty Culture Limited met with Senator the Honorable Professor Prakash Persad, Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training and his senior team to enlighten them on some of the issues in the Technical Vocational sector as it exists today.

During this meeting the College officials presented proposals, in particular Cosmetology/ Beauty Therapy and Massage Therapy, to the Honorable Minister and Team, that should be focused on.

The meeting was very productive and cordial. Mr. Pravin Gopaul expressed his hope for continued dialogue and gave his commitment and readiness to assist wherever he can in bringing world renowned Tertiary Education to the industry.

The Ministry of Tertiary Education and Skills Training remains dedicated to the continued collaboration and concerns of it stakeholders as part of its mandate to foster inclusive, sustainable growth and to position T&T and the Caribbean as a leading skill destination.

The 8th of March is annually celebrated as International Women's Day. However, it is also the anniversary of the First Lady of the Profession Madame Professor Emeritus Pearl Gopaul entering the field of Massage Therapy 40 years ago, today. We wish to commemorate the 'Mother of Massage Therapy in Trinidad and Tobago' on the occasion of her 40th anniversary! May you continue as an Educator and Practioner!!
