August 20, 2024I BUNTIS CONGRESS, BREASTFEEDING AWARENESS and FAMILY PLANNING MONTH celebration at Municipal Gym of Tampakan

Acknowledging a woman's participation and control over her care can facilitate her empowerment in pregnancy and childbirth.

The expectant mothers from different barangay of the Municipality of Tampakan showcased their beauty and wits during the Beauty and the Bump: Healthy Gandang Buntis Pageant.

The activity provided a platform for participants to engage in discussions about the importance of prenatal and post partum care, breastfeeding, family planning, immunization and dental care.

The Municipal Nutrition Action Office provided Buntis Kits and goods for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

Moreover, 220 participants of breastfeeding mothers and pregnant mothers attended the activity to avail the free consultation, dental check-up, laboratory, family planning services and obstetric ultrasound.

The event was in collaboration with Department of Health SOCCSKSARGEN, Integrated Provincial Health Office, Family Planning Organization of the Phillipines, HRH Tampakan, Municipal Nutrition Action Office and Rural Health Unit of Tampakan.

Filariasis Awareness Month!!! Dapat Alamin

Ang LAMOK ay di lamang dengue ang sakit na naidudulot nito. Ito din ay nagdadala ng sakit na FILARIASIS o yung taong nakagat ng LAMOK na may Filaria ay magkakaroon ng bulate sa Dugo na kung saan ang epekto ay lalaki ang ARI, SOSO, BINTI o ano pang parte ng katawan ng tao..

Maging mapagmatyag, mapanuri at panatilihing malinis ang ating kapaligiran..

Kung kayo ay may nakaimbak na tubig sa mga bote, tire o anong mang sisidlan na maaring pamahayan ng LAMOK ay mainam na itaob ito.
Kung ang paligid naman ninyo ay may mga puno ng saging mas mabuting putulin ito dahil sa ito ay pinamamahayan ng lamok.

Palaging gumamit ng kulambo habang natutulog.

Kalimitang naglipana ang mga lamok sa panahon ng tag-ulan.
Ngunit sa mga normal na araw, ang mga lamok ay namamahay sa basa, tambak na tubig, masukal, at maduming lugar. Kung kaya’t palakasin ang depensa laban sa sakit na Dengue sa pamamagitan ng pagpapanatili ng tama at maayos na kapaligiran.
Mariing pinaaalala ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan (DOH) ang mga impormasyon at mga dapat nating tandaan upang mas maintindihan kung paano maiiwasan at masusugpo ang Dengue.

June 27, 2024I The Municipal Health Office headed by our Municipal Health Officer Gillian P. Tedera, RN,MD together with Johann Franz Jamison,DMD,Patrice Trina Aldip,MD-DTTB,MHO Staff,BHS Sta. Cruz Health workers and Human Resource for Health (HRH) personnel joined the Grassroots Reform for Inclusive Progress (GRIP) Program at Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Tampakan South Cotabato.

Reaching the grassroots level
to deliver basic/frontline services is a part of the current administration's program on peace and development carried out through GRIP, a poverty alleviation program, to be done by means of immersion or community outreach bringing basic services at Purok and Sitio Levels in 14 Barangays of Tampakan.

June 24, 2024 -Orientation of Tutok Kainan for Pregnant Women conducted by Ma'am Noeleen Dumadag -Nutrition Officer 1 from Provincial and Social Welfare and Development Office at Municipal Nutrition Action Office.

The Tutok Kainan Program Prioritizes nutritionally vulnerable mothers. Moreover, the initiative ensures the delivery of complimentary childhood care and development (ECCD) services in accordance with RA 11148, also known as the Kalusugan at Nutrisyon ng Mag-Nanay Act.

Joining the orientation were the Barangay Captain,BNS,Nurse,Midwife,BHW,Barangay Councilor of Barangay Maltana, Lambayong,Poblacion,Kipalbig,Loraine Torres,RND and MNAO personnel.
