Who loves smoothies?! This cherry smoothie is one of my favorites! It's FILLED with nutrients. Cherries contain the powerful antioxidants anthocyanins and cyanidin which are anti-inflammatory which is why I love this smoothie post workout. These antioxidants are especially important in cancer prevention too, which is why you should choose a variety a produce in your diet to reap the benefits from these cancer fighters!
Cherry vanilla protein smoothie:
-1 scoop vanilla protein powder
-1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries (unsweetened)
-1 tbsp maca powder
-1 frozen banana
-1 handful organic spinach
-1 packet of the daily good by Aloha or any green superfood powder
-1 tbsp chia seeds
-1/2 cup coconut water
-1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Blend up in a blender until creamy! Enjoy :)
