Your burnout didn’t come out of nowhere.
It wasn’t bad luck, lack of discipline, or the universe picking on you.
It was predictable — written into the same laws that keep the ocean moving and the moon shifting in the sky.
It took me years to understand my own seasons.
For so long, I fought them — forcing myself to be “on” every day, pushing through no matter what my body or spirit were trying to tell me.
When I finally stopped and learned my own tides, everything changed.
It wasn’t just about dodging burnout anymore.
It was about power — real, grounded, self-trust.
I stopped questioning my worth on my low days. I realized that when I honor my rhythm, my high phases aren’t just productive — they’re pure magic.
The Hermetic Law of Rhythm says everything moves in cycles.
Tides rise and fall. The moon waxes and wanes.
So does your energy, your mood, your capacity.
The danger?
We’ve been trained to ignore those cycles — to grind through the low tide like it’s a high tide, to treat rest like it’s a guilty pleasure instead of a birthright, to believe our value is tied to constant output.
And every time we do that, we set ourselves up for the exact crash we’re trying to outrun.
I wrote an entire deep-dive on this for my Patreon — breaking down the Law of Rhythm, the Afro-Indigenous wisdom behind it, the neuroscience that proves it, and the remedies to keep you out of the burnout loop.
If you’re ready to stop fighting the tide and start moving with it, you need to read this.
