I would like some input please. I've had a couple customers ask about Tallow lotion. So here's the thing, Tallow especially organ suet Tallow is solid. So to get a lotion consistency requires adding a dominant amount of an oil to the Tallow and blending.
Here's my thing & question
By doing so you really aren't getting a true Tallow lotion. Your getting a lotion with Tallow added.
Question is
*If your using tallow for its benefits then you want Tallow to be dominant.
Is that not a concern to customers?
Is minimal clean, natural ingredients important to you?
I don't over add ingredients in my Tallow for sake of clean minimal ingredients with less risk of reactions as well.

So I had a new customer that is a tourist from Cali call for product. She also had a dog with some joint pain. So I made up a salve and made extra to tin up and sell that is safe for our fur babies.

Tallow and new fads or ingredients. Honey became a big thing individuals were adding to their Tallow without understanding honey contains water. Therefore needing a preservative to keep it from molding. Yes honey has amazing benefits for many things.

Blue tansy is also an ingredient people want to add. Yes, it has benefits but it has potential side effects to be aware of as well.
*can cause increased sensitive to the sun & uv.
*toxic to pets & kids if consumed
*can cause respiratory issues for those with asthma
*not safe around the eyes
*not safe for those pregnant or nursing
*some may have allergic reactions to it.

Sometimes simpler is overall best but be cautious either way.
