It’s Thursday ✨and The Inversionist (aka The Hanged Man) inspires a necessary pause, surrender, and release. It is only within surrendering that we can attain ultimate freedom. The Hanged Man also calls for a new perspective, and embracing the value of perspective toward every encounter, human, situation, and emotion has proven to be a great gift.
As states, “He is hanging upside-down, viewing the world from a completely different perspective, and his facial expression is calm and serene, suggesting that he is in this hanging position by his own choice... The Hanged Man is the card of ultimate surrender, of being suspended in time...” 🙌🏼

It’s , Boos! And today we are talking about DEATH because WOAH has this Cancer New Moon Eclipse been unearthing something LOUD 💀 This babe is a hard one to pull, as it can carry an immediate panic within first sight. But holy wow, is death so beautifully necessary. (About to go off...) 🙌🏼

Endings are necessary. Closures are necessary. Because with death comes rebirth, regeneration, and purification. 💧

Lovingly allow the passing of your previous self, chapter, and/or circumstances. Release all that is not serving your soul’s growth, knowing that despite the present sorrow, grief, and suffering, TRANSFORMATION awaits- and only the deepest of transformations can occur BECAUSE of this death, Babe! ✨

CANCER NEW MOON ECLIPSE TAROT: It’s time to get serious about tending to our shadows, darlings...This is heady work that most of us really don’t want to deal with - and it’s usually pretty easy not to, until suddenly...wham! Our shadows sneak up behind us and kick over the sandcastles we’ve been patiently building for weeks, months, years. ☾

No matter how “evolved” you are, or how old, or how many reiki master levels you’ve achieved, or college degrees you’ve got under your belt - you can’t escape or outsmart your shadow. It’s always with you. The only way is to be incredibly compassionate, and immensely tender to this sometimes very troubled and troublesome aspect of our being. It requires a lot of personal responsibility to be willing to dive deep into our own subconscious, unconscious, messy, chaotic, deep dark psyches on a regular basis! ☾

The new moons, and particularly these eclipses give us a lot of impetus to do this work - to be conscientious about how we want to stand in our own authority. The more power someone has, the more they must be willing to tend to the shadows, to their unconscious motivations, to their most secret selves. We are witnessing currently the effects of people in power being totally ruled by their shadows. This is where we too, can end up - if our shadows are not tended to with love. This is the time to dig in, and take a long, appraising look at what we’ve been hiding - in our dreams, in our behavior, and in our hearts. ☾

Luckily, we have all the tools to do this work, and a whole team of helpful court cards on our side to support us, help us strap on that scuba gear, and cheer us on as we take these very necessary deep dives into the often murky and mysterious waters of our subconscious beings. Tarot is not a new concept, in fact, it’s been around since the mid FIFTEENTH century. It was originally used to play card games in places like Italy, France, and Austria.

Fun fact: They were originally called Trionfi cards!

It wasn’t until the late 18th Century that these cards began to be used for occult and divination purposes. 😱

Happy summer solstice, boo thangs! As we bask in the glow of the longest and sunniest day of the year, let’s reflect on our strengths, our convictions and the part of us that is as resilient AF.

It don’t matter who you are or how you identify, we’ve all got masculine energy. Remember that time you stood tall and proud in the few of adversity? That was your inner emperor asserting himself.

It’s easy to dismiss the emperor as muscle, when he’s also a strong intellect. Today, take some time to examine your own strengths both physically and mentally and see how you can flex them in your daily life.
