Romi Exercise and Nutrition are the key to happiness, strength and longevity. No plan can be generalized. When I was 16, I was obese, with very low self-esteem.

I was not comfortable with my body and decided to do something about it. I start training and I was hooked! I started with gym, then I did 2 years athletics, 4 years kickboxing and about 2 years of crossfit. In the meantime I never missed one training session, not even when I had exams. I attended kettlebell workshops in Dublin and UK, and hold an M.Sc in Exercise and Sports Science from the Unive

rsity of Birmingham. Training has helped me succeed in my studies and in life. It lightened a fire in me that every time I set a goal in my mind, I strive to achieve it. I am very interested in nutrition and have tried every diet possible. Experience has taught me what works and what doesn't. I am here for you, to help you achieve your best potential!

Why is it important to spend less time sitting down and increase your daily steps? When you are sitting down, your heart has to work harder to get the blood from your legs back to the heart, but when you are walking, the muscle in your calves will contract, pushing the blood upwards towards the heart and that puts less stress on your heart. The recommended intake of omega 6 to omega 3 ratio is 4:1. Nowadays there are a lot of oils where the omega 6 is far higher than the omega 3 as you can see in the photos below. I am sharing the best oils to use and those to avoid or limit to small amounts (these can also be found in ready made food, snacks, biscuits etc). Always check the labels!

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is considered a potent adaptogen and anti-stress agent that could have some potential to improve physical performance. Taking up to 600 mg before bedtime or 300mg in the afternoon and 300mg before bedtime can reduce stress, increase sleep time and helps you fall asleep quicker. Ashwagandha can also aid in increasing muscle mass and performance, however, it should not be taken before training.

Ashwagandha is recommended to be taken in times of stress and when taken for 4 weeks, it should be stopped for 2-4 weeks before taking it again.

Ashwagandha is an adaptogen used to reduce stress and anxiety. It can also be beneficial to improve endurance performance, increase muscle mass, increase testosterone, lower blood sugar levels, lower LDL and also help you to sleep better.

Psyllium husk is a soluble fiber that also helps with lowering cholesterol, lower blood sugar levels and can also relieve constipation.

This client, came to me because he was training a lot but his nutrition was not on point. He was doubtful that he would ever let go of the junk and keep to the plan but not only didn't he follow it perfectly but once he lost the required weight and gained muscle mass, his body got used to the choosing the right food and in the right amounts. To lose weight it doesn't mean starving. He was eating much more than he used to, losing fat and gaining muscle. Eating the right food, will reduce the cravings, increase your energy and that good feel factor will change your mindset to keep achieving your goals ❤

It's much easier to wake up knowing a cupcake 🧁 is waiting for you next to your coffee ☕️. This is similar to my previous recipe but done in a few minutes. It tastes like cake with the difference that it is sugar free, can be done lactose or dairy free, gluten free and high in protein. Don't take my word for it, try it and let me know what you think :)
