Happy International Women’s Day!
Feed Me Nutrition would not be where it is today without the support, encouragement and inspiration of countless women.
From the support of amazing dietitian mentors, speech pathologists, occupational therapist, support coordinators and nurses to my hard working admin and creative supports to the strongest mothers I have had the honour of working with. I am so grateful for all of you. Pour yourself a cup of tea AND try to drink it while it’s hot ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Much Love, Laura

New profile picture means maybe I should introduce myself!
🍏🍏🍏
If you’re new here, I’m Laura, a dietitian, a mum of two, and someone who spends a lot of time thinking about food—both for work and because I love a good recipe 🤓
I’ve been in private practice for over 10 years, but my interest in nutrition started long before that. Dealing with my own chronic illness and spending time in the medical world made me realise just how much of an impact food has on how we feel and our social interactions.
That’s what made me want to be a dietitian, and ever since, I’ve been helping people improve their health in ways that actually fit into real life.
When I’m not talking about food, I’m usually eating it—preferably at a restaurant by the water with my dog. I love a beach swim, all kinds of music, and a good chat, so feel free to say hi.
There’s a lot coming for Feed Me Nutrition this year, so stay tuned! ❤️🍏

We are back on for 2022🍏🍎🍏🍎

Wishing you all a happy new year 🎆 I hope you enjoyed your little break from therapy, time with loved ones and some good food.

A note to everyone with appointments in the next 2 weeks. I will be contacting each of you before your appointment to confirm whether you would prefer Telehealth via zoom or a face-to-face consultation.

For all face to face consultations all attending adult members must wear a face mask and sign in via QR code. As the attending dietitian I will be taking a RAT test prior to my work days for your peace of mind.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Laura Appel ☺️

We provide nutrition advice and practical plans that make it easy to eat well no matter what your circumstance. Feed Me Nutrition’s primary focus is working with people with long term health conditions and persons with a disability. Assisting our clients to improve their quality of life through simple nutrition solutions.

Our dietitian Laura Appel graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Master of Science (Nutrition and Dietetics). Since her graduation she has been working with a number of non-government organisations supporting people with a disability and chronic health conditions to improve their health through nutrition plans and training.
