Freedom Youth Yoga is honored to be part of the GTY 108 Festival by hosting a four-hour kids’ yoga workshop during the big event on Sunday, September 21st!!

✨ It’s almost here! The Giving Tree Yoga 108 Festival is happening Saturday, September 20th & Sunday, September 21st — two incredible days of yoga, meditation, workshops, music, vendors, and community.

This annual gathering brings teachers, healers, and seekers together for one purpose: to honor peace, connection, and giving back. Every single offering is donated from the heart, and all proceeds go to local and global charities. 💙

New Chapters

After teaching high school English for many years, then caring for my babies at home, I began searching for a new way to make a difference in my Smyrna, Georgia community. Yoga can provide the tools that young people need to have more confidence in control of their bodies and minds. Being able to calm themselves, to make thoughtful choices, and to stay focused on what is most important to them are vital skills. Exercising to build stamina and strength, and to work off that excess youthful energy will help them grow into healthier adults.

The goal of Freedom Youth Yoga, Inc is to be able to provide yoga instruction to youth who would usually not have the opportunity, starting with the Smyrna community. We are currently offering preschool yoga classes at the Smyrna Community Center and After School Program instruction at a local elementary school. We love any ideas you may have for growing the offerings of this venture.
