Power to Pause 🌔✨

Do you ever find a slower moving practice daunting?⠀
⠀
Or mediation frustrating?⠀
⠀
I feel it's important to remind ourselves that sometimes jumping into rest, stillness, or the power in pause itself can be really difficult if we have a lot of energy to burn, are feeling busy in the mind, or have been struggling with anxiety. ⠀
⠀
In today's class we'll let our mind rest on the back burner by allowing our body to take the lead - we'll begin in Down Dog and move into the power of Phalakasana, Plank Pose. ⠀
⠀
We'll roll through Vinyasas, a Sun salutation
or two, and a few heart opening backbends!⠀
⠀
We'll take moments to pause and breathe in stillness, but only once our temperature and
heart rate have increased 😉⠀
⠀
Ohhh, how sweet rest can feel after
physical energy has been exerted! ⠀
⠀
Even when the flow (life) is spicy,
how can we practice gentleness with ourselves? ⠀
⠀
