Hello everyone!
Let me introduce myself…
I’m Riki and I have silently suffered from fibromyalgia for years. After a car accident in December of 2018, the symptoms were almost unbearable and I tried every medication prescribed but nothing helped. It lead me down a spiral of depression and self hate for how my body was reacting to the slightest bit of stress. After getting cleared by a doctor to get back to gym, I started a healthier lifestyle and it really helped. Weighing less and working out really made me think I had it under control.
Fast forward to 2020… all aspects of life changed and I went into survival mode. Changing towns, jobs and lifestyles really took a toll on my body and health.
Around the end of 2023, I started to do more research on fibromyalgia and ways to heal my body from the years of stress and poor diet. After reading and researching food, I found that I was going about it all wrong. The foods I was eating were okay but had so many different chemicals and byproducts in them that were actually hurting my body in the long run.
I will be sharing some of my go to products that I eat on a daily basis and why you should add them to your diet for body, brain and gut health. Healing my gut has had such an incredible effect on my fibromyalgia and a great addition to that has been losing some pesky pounds along the way.
