Dear Parents,
My name is Robert Gomez, a Behavior Analyst and a 2nd-year Master of Psychology student conducting a research study as part of my Advanced Quantitative Research Methods class at Miriam College. Under the guidance of my faculty advisor, Dr. Maria Lourdes Q. Baybay, I am exploring the experiences of parents raising children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Your insights would be invaluable to this study. If you are between the ages of 25 and 70 and are the parent of a child diagnosed with autism, I invite you to participate. The survey will take approximately 8–10 minutes to complete and is designed to be accessible to those comfortable with reading and understanding English.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time without providing a reason. If you choose to participate, you’ll be asked to sign a consent form before beginning. Your responses will be collected through Google Forms, analyzed confidentially, and then used to fulfill course requirements.
As a thank-you for your time and insights, I will be offering a FREE parent training on behavior management after the study is completed. The training schedule will be announced and communicated via email. Additionally, all participants will be entered into a raffle draw, where ten selected winners will receive 500 PHP each via GCash.
Thank you for considering taking part in this study.
Best regards,
Robert Gomez
