You are not meant to be improved into someone else.

We’re so used to thinking something is wrong with us.

That if we were just better at this…
more disciplined…
less sensitive…
more confident…
more organized…
life would feel easier.

So we take the course.
We work on our weaknesses.
We try to become someone else.

But a big part of the work I do as a holistic nurse coach is strength-based —
because so often, we’re blind to what comes naturally to us.

The things that are easy, intuitive, or just “how we are”
don’t feel like strengths…
they just feel normal.

And yet, those are often the very things
that can move us forward.

There’s nothing wrong with growth.
But how much lighter would life feel
if you let your strengths lead the way
instead of constantly trying to fix yourself?

You were created on purpose —
with specific traits, ways of thinking, and ways of being.

Knowing your strengths — and actually using them —
can guide you into a life that feels more aligned and true to you,
instead of living in a constant cycle of
“I need to be better.”

So try this on, if you’d like:

✨ A few gentle questions to reflect on:

• What are 3 strengths that come to mind right away?
• What are you proud of in your life?
• What about you made that possible?
• What small things feel deeply gratifying to you?
• What do people compliment you on?
• When have you felt most energized — and what were you doing?
• In one of your hardest seasons, what strength helped you through?

You don’t need to become someone new.
You may just need to see yourself more clearly.

And that’s a big part of the work I love to do 🤍

If your body has been holding more than your words can explain or your body is looking for release and rest…. this is for you.

You might be feeling:
• constantly on edge or emotionally heavy
• tired but wired or simply just plain old tired
• disconnected from your body
• overwhelmed, yet unsure how to rest
• carrying stress or past experiences that haven’t fully settled

This Stress & Trauma Release Yoga class is not about pushing, fixing, or forcing anything to change.

It’s about creating safety — so your body can soften on its own.

On Wednesday, Feb 25 | 6–8 pm, I’m guiding a small, intentional group through a deeply supportive evening at Harmonic Egg – Kindersley that includes:
• gentle, trauma-informed movement
• a guided Yoga Nidra practice for deep nervous system rest
• a sound bath to support release, regulation, and integration

This is slow. This is quiet. This is permission to rest.

A 20-minute Yoga Nidra practice alone can offer benefits similar to 2–3 hours of deep restorative sleep — and when paired with sound, stillness, and gentle movement, the body is given space to truly let go.

✨ Details:

Wednesday, Feb 25
6–8 pm

Truth bomb- I am TIRED

January has left me feeling tired — like I could use a two-day nap.
But it’s also shown me how much I’ve grown.

I recently changed my workout routine, and my body started asking for more rest days.
So I listened.

Old me would have made a plan and followed it no matter what.
Discipline at all costs.
Push through.
Don’t deviate.

And while that can look like strength…
for me, listening is the bigger win.

I’ve also been feeling tired in my work.
So I adjusted my schedule.

And honestly — if you’re coming to me for support,
do you want the exhausted version of me?
Or the version that actually lives what she teaches
and protects her energy so she can show up fully for you?

I’ve also been spending more time in my creative world outside of work.
Which I love…
but if you’re anything like me, once there’s a vision in your head,
you can’t stop until you see it in real life.

A gift and a curse, really 😅

So I’ve been a little quieter here —
not because I have nothing to say,
but because I’ve been honouring what my body is asking for.

And that feels important to share.

Growth doesn’t always look like doing more.
Sometimes it looks like resting sooner.
Adjusting instead of forcing.
Trusting instead of pushing.

If you’ve been feeling tired lately too,
this is your permission to listen.
Not quit.
Not give up.
Just respond differently.

Sending love as we close the first month of 2026 and we slowly welcome more light into our days.

So often we move through life believing we don’t have a choice.

“I don’t have time.”
But you’re the one who decides what goes on your calendar.

“I have to because I need the money.”
But you’re the one who chooses how you earn it and how you spend it.

“I have to because of the benefits… the pension… the security.”
But there are more ways to create safety than the one you’re in.

“I have to because I want my kids to have what I didn’t.”
And that’s beautiful.
But it doesn’t mean you have to abandon yourself in the process.

Over time, our lives quietly fill with have to’s and shoulds
until we forget that choice still exists.

We are allowed to change our minds.
Even about things we once wanted.
Even about things we worked hard for.
Even about things we’re grateful for.

Clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder.
It comes from living.
From noticing what drains you.
From noticing what brings you peace.

And remembering this:

Peace is not something you earn.
It is something you choose.

✨ 6-Week Gentle Yoga Series ✨
Thursdays | 9:30 AM
Jan 8 – Feb 12
$105 | tax included

Gentle Yoga at AmaSoma is exactly what it sounds like —
slow, supportive, deeply grounding while sneaking in moments of challenge to build strength and maintain bone density.

What is Gentle Yoga?

Gentle Yoga focuses on:
• slow, mindful movement
• breath awareness
• mobility and joint health
• nervous system regulation
• ending with rest and relaxation

Each class is an invitation to move with your body — not against it.

Who this class is for
• you’re new to yoga or looking for a slower mindful practice
• your body feels stiff, sore, or tired
• you’re navigating stress, overwhelm, or burnout
• you want movement that feels supportive
• you’re craving consistency and gentle accountability

No experience required.
All bodies welcome.

This is a 6-week series to allow your body to feel the benefits of consistency — not just a one-off class.

Spaces are limited to keep the experience supportive and personal.

If your body is asking for slower mornings, gentle movement, and a space to breathe — this might be for you 🤍
