Blood Moon Eclipse + Full Moon: what it means spiritually (and why it feels so intense)

A Blood Moon Eclipse is one of those cosmic “hard resets” — the kind of energy that doesn’t just inspire change… it demands it. Spiritually, this is an activation portal for truth, release, and rapid transformation. Full Moons already illuminate what’s hidden; an eclipse amplifies it, exposing patterns you’ve tolerated, emotions you’ve suppressed, and choices that aren’t aligned with who you’re becoming.

If you’ve been feeling extra emotional, restless, called to purge, or like you can’t “unsee” what you’ve been ignoring — that’s not random. That’s the eclipse doing what it does best: pulling the mask off and redirecting you back to your soul path.

What this Blood Moon Eclipse is here to do for you
• Reveal what’s draining you (people, habits, environments, beliefs, fear loops)

Ritual: Blood Moon Eclipse Power Reel-In (20–30 minutes)

What you’ll need
• 1 black candle (release/protection) + 1 white candle (renewal/clarity)
(If you only have one candle, use white.)
• A glass of water (to hold/anchor the energy)
• Paper + pen
• A pinch of salt
• Optional crystals: Black tourmaline/obsidian (protection), moonstone (intuition), clear quartz (amplify), amethyst (spiritual clarity)

Step 1 — Cleanse + claim your space (2 minutes)

Sprinkle a pinch of salt in your water and say:
“I cleanse this space and my energy. Only love, truth, and alignment may remain.”

Step 2 — The Eclipse Truth List (5 minutes)

Fold your paper in half.

Left side: “I RELEASE”
Write 5–10 things you’re done with (be real, be savage, be honest):
• fear of being judged
• self-sabotage
• the relationship that drains you
• procrastination
• guilt/shame
• scarcity mindset

Right side: “I RECEIVE”
Write 5–10 things you’re calling in:
• confidence
• consistent money
• healthy love
• peace
• clarity
• aligned clients
• glow-up energy

Step 3 — Cord-cut + rewire (7 minutes)

Light the black candle and read the release list out loud. After each one say:
“I release you. I revoke your access to my life.”

Then light the white candle and read the receive list out loud. After each one say:
“I receive this now. I am available for miracles.”

Step 4 — Seal the power into your body (5 minutes)

Place your hands over your heart and belly and breathe slowly.
Say 3 times:
“My body is safe to hold power. My spirit is ready to receive. My life is aligning now.”

Step 5 — Water charge + offering (2 minutes)

Hold the glass of water and visualize the Blood Moon’s red glow pouring into it like light.
Say:
“This water holds my renewal. I drink in alignment, protection, and manifestation.”

Drink it slowly.

Step 6 — Closing (1 minute)

Blow out candles (or let them burn safely).
Tear up the “release” list and throw it away or flush it.
Keep the “receive” list on your altar, mirror, or journal for 7 days.

What to do for the next 72 hours (this matters)

Eclipse energy keeps moving after the moment passes. For the next 3 days:
• hydrate more than usual (energy detox = physical detox)
• take salt baths or showers with intention
• avoid big emotional decisions from a triggered place
• write down synchronicities + dreams (your guides are loud right now)

2•22 Energy Portal Ritual

Theme: Get unstuck • Reclaim your power • Ground + Clarity • Manifest your next chapter

What you’ll need
• 2 candles (any kind)
• A marker or small slips of paper to label the candles
• A clear glass bowl or jar
• Water
• Pen + paper
• Clear Quartz + Amethyst (or any quartz + purple stone if that’s what you have)

Step 1: Open the Portal

Take 3 slow breaths. Roll your shoulders back. Let your body know: we are safe to shift.

Say out loud (or whisper):
“On this 2•22 portal, I choose to come back home to myself. I release what is heavy. I welcome what is meant for me.”

Step 2: Candle Activation

Light two candles and label them:
• Candle 1: GROUNDING
• Candle 2: CLARITY

As you light each one, say:

GROUNDING candle:
“I return to my body. I return to the Earth. I am supported, stable, and protected.”

CLARITY candle:
“My mind is clear. My path is illuminated. I receive the next step with ease.”

Step 3: Water Spell Bowl

Pour water into your clear glass bowl or jar and place it between the candles.

Place your Clear Quartz and Amethyst next to the bowl (or touching the base if you’d like).

Say:
“Water, hold my intention. Crystals, amplify my power. Universe, meet me here.”

Step 4: The 2 + 2 Paper Portal

On your paper, write:

2 things you are DONE WITH

(Example: “Overthinking,” “Playing small,” “Feeling stuck,” “Doubting myself,” “Energetic attachments.”)

2 things you are calling into your life

(Example: “Confidence,” “Clear direction,” “Financial overflow,” “Peace,” “Aligned love,” “Purpose.”)

Now hold the paper over your heart and say:
“I am done with what drains me. I now choose what expands me. My power returns to me now.”

Step 5: Fold + Dunk (The Manifestation Seal)

Fold the paper towards you (pulling your desires in).

Then dunk it into the water.

As the ink smudges, watch it and say:
“As this ink dissolves, so do the blocks. As this water holds my truth, my dreams begin to move toward me. I am returning to clarity. I am returning to grounding. I am returning to my power — now.”

Let the paper soak for a moment while you visualize:
• you unstuck
• your energy returning
• your next step becoming obvious
• your dreams beginning to move

Step 6: Close the Spell + Return It to Earth

Allow the candles to burn down safely (or sit with them for at least 10–20 minutes, then s***f if needed).

When you’re done:
• Take the bowl/jar outside and pour the water into the earth or into a plant outside.

Say:
“Earth, receive this offering. Begin working this intention into form. What is meant for me is already on its way.”

Step 7: Keep Your Crystal Anchor

Keep the Clear Quartz and Amethyst after the ritual — place them on your altar, nightstand, desk, or by your mirror.

Every time you see them, say:
“I am grounded. I am clear. I am powerful. I am the creator of my reality.”
