Inspired by KMG's new mural in the Cruikshank Botanic Garden, we've created a new trail of public artworks in Old Aberdeen. Pick up a map from the Sir Duncan Rice Library, the Zoology Museum or at the Nuart festival (22nd-26th April) or view one online: http://abdn.io/296

⚠️ An Arctic Visitor Protected by Law ⚠️

Following a recent sighting of an injured walrus in Orkney, BDMLR have received reports of a walrus now resting in north east Scotland - likely the same individual, though ID is still to be confirmed.

These animals rely on undisturbed rest, but crowds, noise and drones can force them back into the water before they’ve recovered.

If seen, please keep at least 100m away, minimise noise and movement, and where possible avoid publicising the location to prevent crowds and disturbance. Walruses are protected by law, so allowing them to rest undisturbed is essential. ❤️
