The last 24 hours has been wild! I was sad to miss market day but we've been without power and water since yesterday's storm. Going into the weekend, I knew it would be busy. And busy changes. The girls were excited to show their horses today but, understandably, it was canceled. So I would've missed today anyway😫 and sadly with fair week and cousins coming in won't be there next week either.
I do have yellow summer squash and handcrafted soap available. Message me and we can find a time to meet. I don't want anyone to go without great soap so
if you need some, don't hesitate to let me know. Im looking at making it available in town for better access, stay tuned for details👏
Hope everyone is staying safe through the storm cleanup and has a wonderful week enjoying fair time!
Check out this cool pic of a storm damaged tree in our timber...its amazing what mother nature can do🔥 Luckily we didn't have any animals or structures suffer, but the timber is a mess🙏😫 Thank God for a handy, hard working hubby to do the heavy lifting❤️

Tomorrow is Marketday!
I've easily underestimated Summer🤪
Kids out of school, animal care, garden tending, jobs, housework, yard maintenance, market prep, social events, getting groceries for us and animals😂... I would've liked to be swimming or taking a nap or in the garden this afternoon...but instead I made fresh fruit and cream cheese DANISHES for you all tomorrow🫶🫐🥐 and Josies made some Cherry Cheesecake Brownies...with hand picked 🍒!
We are off on a tangent tonight so I'll be in the garden early tomorrow and see what's ready...but im pretty sure there's lettuce, kohlrabi, peas, herbs, and onions out there!
I'll have handcrafted soap and other body care too!
Come down and see us🫛🥐🍫🌞 🧼

I had many reasons to wave a white flag and change my plans for market tomorrow...but here i am adding finishing touches on my last minute menu🤪🤣👏

I'll have Cowboy Cookies, Blueberry Danish, and Rhubarb Muffins on the baked side. Peas, lettuce, and spinach, some fresh herbs, and garlic scapes from the garden. Handcrafted soaps, body oil, lotion bars, and lip balm are well stocked...if you haven't seen and smelled all the new ones this season, they're worth the stop!
Josie has some new slime masterpieces to tell you about and is ready to do my weekly shopping👏 Ive found some great weekly staples from the other vendors🥰

Market soap special will be buy 2, get one free! Only at market and only tomorrow! Stock up or get someone a lovely gift🫶

Good Morning Monticello Iowa Farmers Market! It's a beautiful morning and we are all ready for you🌞🌱

Cowboy Cookies, Mint Marshmallow Brownies, granola, Rhubarb Crumb Muffins, and jam from the kitchen. Fresh from the garden...radishes, snap peas, and herbs. On the soap side...great selection of bar soap, body oil, and lip balm. Market special today is 2 bars for $14.
Josie is here with some new colorful slime choices!

Got to experience my oils in action yesterday🥰 Dawn does a wonderful job incorporating energy work into a great massage and my skin felt so soft all night! Thank you, Dawn at Daybreak in Monticello!

Kitchens cleaned and ...now it's time to mess it up🤣🤣
Getting all the baking in early so I can get out to the garden! Can't wait to see what is growing after that beautiful rain🫶

A couple new soaps are ready to go and ill have a great selection of the past favs and body oil and lotion bars❤️
We still have some farm raised chicken available...great for smokers and grills this holiday weekend🐔 Can deliver locally today if needed!

Not sad to end my night with some leftovers from market! I love selling out...but this rhubarb crisp is so good, we love having one left to share🥰
Thank you for all the support today! It was great seeing new and familiar faces.
Also got to watch a little baseball today, mowed the lawn, did chores, visited the campground...was a beautiful, fun, productive Saturday🌞🫶🙏
Got a look at my mini orchard while mowing...the fruit is coming on...and the trees look full! Yeah👏
I hope all of you had a blessed Saturday!
