Had a mystery reaction the other night & it appears bone char sugar in this bbq sauce did it. I called the company to confirm they use bone char sugar. They said lots of people with alpha gal call them!! The sugar free version was fine for me last night.
I just love when people think this is an easy allergy to navigate. “Just avoid beef and pork. Easy.” Yeah right! I’ve been writing down my foods and reactions for months playing food allergy detective! I think it’s eggs now for me too. 😩

Beef tallow fries at …Not cool for people with allergies to tallow (or maybe just vegans). This is not a safe option. I wouldn’t eat at steak and shake anyway bc of alpha gal but I hate to see this new trend.

Yum! I love Reese’s Pieces and now they will be dairy free. Check the packaging. It’s still being changed out.

Hershey has removed the milk from their Reese's Pieces!

Thoughts?? Found online: It’s a request from someone with a food allergy on a plane. The comments were rough lol. I know me personally, I get extremely embarrassed with my allergy. Just mentioning it or making a request. Major social anxiety.
