-Stopped in to my office to access proficient wifi, for a change, and my space is so quiet it's eerie. I'm grateful our county is finally in the "yellow phase", as of today, because it's a step closer to reopening my little business.

Not having received any form of financial aid yet, and still paying rent, for a space I haven't used since March 16th, and other business related bills, my mind can't help but go to those dark, uncertain, anxiety-ridden places from time to time.

Do you know what brings me back to the land of "ok"? Thinking of my wonderful clients. πŸ’“ I just wanted to take a minute and tell you what an inspiration you are to me!! Thanks for trusting me as your Massage Therapist and I can't wait to see you again!

Me when I can finally go for bodywork!!

Grandma once gave me a tip:

During difficult times, you move forward in small steps.
Do what you have to do, but little by bit.
Don't think about the future, not even what might happen tomorrow. Wash the dishes.
Take off the dust.
Write a letter.
Make some soup.
Do you see?
You are moving forward step by step.
Take a step and stop.
Get some rest.
Compliment yourself.
Take another step.
Then another one.
You won't notice, but your steps will grow bigger and bigger.
And time will come when you can think about the future without crying. Good morning

Huntingdon Farmers' Market

Opening day is just under two weeks away, and we wanted to share some of the (hopefully temporary) changes we've made in response to the current health crisis. To start the season, market hours will be 11:30-12 explicitly for Seniors and other virus-vulnerable folks and 12-3 for the general public. We are encouraging folks to order their veggies ahead of time at www.huntingdonfarmersmarket.org so that all you have to do on market day is come and pick up your veggies at a predetermined time. You won't even have to leave your car, as we will have runners bringing your orders out to you. Pre-orders can be made between noon on Saturday and noon on Tuesday. Vendors WILL be set up, however, for day-of market sales. We've designed our setup so that you can easily visit all the vendors without stepping inside the pavilion and maintain a safe distance from everyone. We ask that everyone please wear a mask and, if possible, send only one person per family to shop on market day. We have a few more requests and bits of info on the attached information sheet, so please take the time to read. As always we will be accepting credit cards, EBT, FMNP checks, Market Bucks, Bonus Bucks, and cash. We look forward to serving you this season! Stay safe, everyone :)

Full market details can be found at: https://www.huntingdonfarmersmarket.org/rules-for-visiting-market

Grandma, how can I live this quarantine?

"My daughter, quarantine is a special, mysterious and sacred period. In my days, newborn children could only leave the house for the first time after their 40th day of life. It is a period of waiting and preparing for a new life. It is the period that produces a great change."

And how do you prepare for this change?

"With simple, genuine and loving actions. Every morning comb your long hair with dedication and untie all the knots, even the most hidden ones that you have always neglected. It is time to put all the knots in the comb. Then dedicate yourself to untangling even your beloved ones skeins. With patience and you will try to find the end of the skein, the exact starting point of the thread. Already with these simple but powerful actions you will create order outside and inside of you. Undoing physical knots with your hands you will begin to touch your internal knots."

And after undoing the knots, what can I do, grandma?

Remove all parts of you that are no longer fertile. In many funeral rites of ancient peoples it is believed that the deceased leaves the body entirely on the 40th day after his death. In these 40 days, my daughter, cut your hair, eliminate clothes that you have not worn for a long time or that you no longer want use, open the windows of your home well to let the stale air out, cultivate new thoughts by abandoning the old, dedicated to creating new habits, new customs, new traditions."

Grandmother, I'm afraid that after this isolation nothing will change. Man quickly forgets...

"How others will react to this quarantine is none of your business. Make a commitment to change and not forget. Make sure this storm shakes you up so much that it completely revolutionizes your life."
