It was very sad to read that AMR (American Medical Response) will be laying off hundreds of EMT's in the South Sound by the end of January 2023.

While we do not have any full time positions, we do need EMT's for Stand-by First Aid during the Spring - Fall. We primarily work Marathons (running events), Festivals, and the Seattle to Portland Bike Ride AKA STP.

Due to popular demand we brought back The Pediatric First Aid | CPR AED course. This course is only available for onsite training in schools, daycare, church's etc.... WE bring the training to you.

This course reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and it conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update.

The HSI Advanced First Aid Course in now available for 2023 corporate bookings.

The ASHI Advanced First Aid course is designed for the person who needs or desires more first aid training than Basic First Aid, but not to the level of Emergency Medical Response. Perfect for corporate emergency response teams, this 17-21 hour Advanced First Aid certification course presents many of the most common illnesses and injuries responders are likely to encounter.

The Advanced First Aid course is completed in two (2) consecutive eight (8) hour days.

Classroom training may be at the clients site or one that we choose.

The space required is roughly 17sq ft per student in classroom.

Practical skills and scenario based training requires an open space/indoor.

Advanced First Aid is available for groups of five (5) or more. Ten (10) students is our cut off point for a single instructor.

The course is not available for open enrollment at this time, however we are taking agency/corporate bookings.

NWR to Host - Seattle To Portland Bike Ride, Medical Station mile 175.

The Kaiser Permanente Seattle to Portland (STP) presented by Alaska Airlines Bicycle Classic is a 200+ mile ride through western Washington. Heading south from Seattle and ending in Portland, Oregon, the STP is a thrilling back-to-back double century ride through urban and rural settings.

Northwest Response will be manning Medical Station 175 in Saint Helens OR, only 25+ miles from the finish line., (yea..we know, Yikes)

The Medical supply list is dizzying, but we have an amazing support system of 30 year veterans ranging from Doctors, Paramedics and EMT’s.
