"The greatest mistake a man can ever make is to be afraid of making one." -Elbert Hubbard

You are human, we are not created to be perfect. One mistake does not dictate the rest of your life. Every mistake you make is a valuable lesson gained. Mistakes are a part of life. Take a deep breath and overcome it, don't let it drag you down. It's okay to have a bad day, just don't unpack and live there. Let out a sigh of relief and refocus on your goal.

Don't feel guilty for doing what's best for you because it is not being selfish. You must do what will make you happy at the end of the day because no one else can bear the consequences or anything that results from your decision except you.

Lastly, Just be yourself. Let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful, magical person that you are because an original is worth more than a copy

Be positive about even the small victories.

In mental health recovery, any small step should be celebrated. Use these victories to encourage and remind yourself that you can indeed overcome one step at a time. You’ll be able to say, “I know I can do it because I’ve done it before.” When depression causes a lack of motivation, know that you can still beat it.

"You carry so much love in your heart. Give some to yourself." — r.z.

Be aware of what burdens you are carrying. Not everything that weighs you down is yours to carry. Take care of yourself first and let go of the things that make your journey harder than it needs to be!

Remember:
Your FEELINGS are VALID.
You have every right to feel whatever emotion you want.
You aren't being dramatic. You aren't over exaggerating.
You're feeling and that's OKAY.

Be gentle with your mind. Having good well-being helps you experience and express several emotions. Emotional and mental health is important because it is an important part of your life and affects your thoughts, behaviors and emotions. Being emotionally healthy increases productivity and effectiveness in activities such as work, school, or care. Just as you can take care of your body through proper exercise, you can work to maintain your mental health.💚

“You don’t have to be positive all the time. It’s perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared and anxious. Having feelings doesn’t make you a negative person. It makes you human.” — Lori Deschene
