🤎Eating disorders don’t have one look, someone can be considered “overweight” & still be just as sick as someone who is “underweight”
🤎Calories are only here to tell you how much energy the food is providing you, calories give us a very vague idea on how many nutrients your body is getting from food
🤎You don’t actually feel fine
🤎It is not normal to body check in every reflection you see 17 times a day
🤎It is not normal to know how many calories are in every single food that touches your plate without looking them up
🤎Eating disorders will not go away on their own
🤎There isn’t one type of eating disorder that is more intense than another

MaryAnn Stockhauser, MS, RD, CDN

Hello! My name is MaryAnn Stockhauser and I am a Registered Dietitian (RD). I have my Master of Science in nutrition and dietetics through the accredited combined Master and Internship program at SUNY Oneonta. Currently, I work as an acute care clinical RD at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center through the Mohawk Valley Health System located in Utica, NY. I'm a nature loving, sweets seeker, who travels to enjoy the most well-known food around. I strongly believe there is power through food and nutrition to directly affect the way you feel and live not only now, but in the years to come. I am here to help guide and educate the everyday person on the impact of the choices they make each and every day. I'm just like you in so many ways, trying to live a healthy life in a world where every week there is a "new" way to do it. So, if you're ready to take this nutrition journey with me, hop on.
