Do you live calmly? 🌿
After our delivery last week, I’ll be honest - I’ve been feeling far from calm! Surrounded by unpacked boxes, endless organising and that “so much still to do” energy… it’s easy to lose balance. 😅
But even in the midst of chaos, I’m reminding myself to pause, breathe and return to calm. 💫

Here’s how I’m bringing myself back into balance this week:
✨ Practise Mindfulness: Be fully present, even if the moment feels messy.
🧘‍♀️ Meditate Daily: Just 5–10 minutes a day can ease stress and increase self-awareness.
🌸 Live Calmly: Adopt habits and perspectives that nurture peace, balance and wellbeing - especially vital when living with coeliac disease or an autoimmune condition, where stress can deeply affect the body.

As a holistic health coach, I believe calm is medicine - for mind, body and soul.

I live with autoimmune conditions and have learned the importance of weekly rituals. Sundays offer me a chance to reconnect with my health on all levels: physically, mentally, and emotionally. I take the time to review what worked and what didn't in the past week, especially regarding my diet and overall well-being.

Viewing Sundays as a time for reset aligns beautifully with my coaching philosophy: empowering individuals to lead vibrant lives despite health challenges. Embracing this day as a cornerstone for reflection and preparation fuels my passion for holistic health.

I use this time to reflect on my autoimmune journey. It’s important to acknowledge the challenges while also celebrating the victories. Implementing mindful practices like journaling or meditating helps me centre my thoughts and create a positive mindset. Such habits are beneficial for my physical health and play a critical role in managing stress and maintaining a balanced outlook in the face of any difficulties that may arise.

As a health coach, I am passionate about sharing these insights with others who may be navigating similar paths. I believe Sundays are a powerful opportunity to set intentions not just for ourselves, but also for the people we support. Together, we can explore ways to cultivate resilience and a healthy lifestyle, even amidst the complexities that autoimmune diseases can bring.

Ultimately, viewing Sundays as a time for reset aligns beautifully with my coaching philosophy: to empower individuals to lead vibrant lives despite health challenges. "A little progress each day adds up to big results!"

Now that our container has arrived from Hong Kong, I find myself surrounded by boxes as I unpack into our new home in the UK. I’m staying mindful that a little progress each day adds up to big results. Each item I unpack brings us one step closer to settling in and making this space truly ours.

Even though it can feel chaotic, I'm focusing on the small victories - unpacking one box at a time, setting up our rooms, and finding the perfect spots for our belongings. Every little action is a part of this exciting new chapter, and I’m embracing the journey of transforming this house into our home. With patience and consistency, we’ll make it wonderful!

I'm letting the little victories of unpacking inspire me, for they will ultimately culminate in a fantastic new beginning!

🌈✨ In a world that often rushes by, I’m learning to embrace the magic of being present. It’s so easy to get caught up in worries about the past or anxieties for the future, but today, I’m reminding myself to simply be. 🕊️

🌸✨ As I reflect on my journey, I can’t help but feel immense gratitude for the beautiful moments that have shaped my life.

Adapting to a gluten-free lifestyle can be a challenge, but it’s also a reminder to cherish the health and wellbeing that we have. I have been a Coeliac for 30 years now and each day I learn something new about living with Autoimmune Diseases.

Each small victory, whether it’s been settling into our new home or managing autoimmune flares, has a significant impact on my daily life.

It’s the little things that bring me joy: a peaceful moment in our garden, enjoying the simplicity of a good book, or sharing laughs over a meal with loved ones. 💖 Let's take a moment to appreciate everything that brings us happiness, big or small.

Starting a gratitude journal has been a wonderful practice for me, and I encourage you all to try it out! What are you grateful for today? 🌼

Gluten Free Dairy Free Family

My name's Emma. I've been living gluten-free for 25 years, and I've been dairy-free for three years. I have followed the low-fodmap to see what other food intolerances I had.

It can be quite frightening when you first find out you have to change the way you eat but for some of us' food is our medicine.' I have several websites, write blogs, and I'm currently in the process of writing a book while training to be a Health Coach with IIN.

I choose to stay off these foods to stay healthy and happy and to keep the various autoimmune issues I have under control. It can be a real struggle at times, but I'm 100 % worth staying healthy for, and so are you. I hope this inspires you to stay healthy, enjoy your diet and to try cooking great food at home.
