I try not to waste anything in our house, so when the youngest suddenly develops an aversion to crusts while living in the UK (I still don't understand the sudden change), I simply accepted it, cut them off and froze them.
Today, I defrosted the crusts, tossed them with some olive oil and either herbs or spices, and air-fried them into croutons. This way, there’s no waste, and they make a perfect snack or addition to salads and other dishes!
