Recovery time: Downtime after liposuction varies depending on the case. Usually, about 1-3 weeks is required for returning to work, and 4 to 6 weeks for returning to exercise.

How do you take care of liposuction?

Activity
1. Rest when you feel tired. Getting enough sleep will help you recover.
2. Try to walk each day. ...
3. You will probably be able to return to work within a few days (3 weeks)
4. Avoid strenuous activities, such as bicycle riding, jogging, weight lifting, or aerobic exercise, until your doctor says it is okay.

Lipo education: There could be significant blood loss with liposuction ( not very common) however it’s important to build your blood levels (Hb) with supplements and iron containing foods (eg turkish berries) prior to your surgery.
