Rye Leisure Centre When Rye pool closed in Nov '22, locals were concerned that we may lose this vital community asset.

To combat this, a CIO was formed with the aspiration of taking over the centre and operating it as a community social enterprise from 1/1/2025.

Customer notice:

Temporarily, there is no hot water to taps and showers for this morning!

This is for essential maintenance on our hot water system. The pool temperature will be unaffected!

Once the works are completed, it'll take at least and hour for the hot water to circulate back to the taps and showers.

Aplogies for any inconvenience caused!

Unfortunately, boxing is no longer on a Tuesday evening. It is now on a Friday 6-7pm.

🙏 A huge thank you to Rye Leisure Centre for the generous donation of surplus gifts from their Santa's Grotto in December. Daniel Lynn, Centre Director, photographed with our Community Fundraiser, Cathy, kindly dropped the gifts off to us yesterday. 🎁

These gifts were generously donated by Barry Nealon, Chairman of Rye Recreation & Wellbeing CIO, and his partner Paddy Coulman, who requested that all surplus gifts be passed on to the Sara Lee Trust. 💙✨

We’re incredibly grateful for their kindness and support. With so many fundraising events taking place this year, these gifts will help us raise much-needed funds. ⭐
