About Judie
Living a great life in beautiful Meridian, Idaho with my hubby, Ron and two spoiled Shih Tzu dogs. Teddy is a 12 year old little old man who calls all the shots, and our new addition is Little Lord Pe’Pe’ Le Pew named after the popular cartoon Skunk that gave his heart to a cat disguised as a Skunk. One look at Pe’Pe and your first thought is you are looking at a Skunk. I retired after 30 years as a Sales Trainer, 20 years as a Hypnotherapist & 10 years as a Videographer to spend time as a Red Hat Diva, playing Grandma to five grandkids and playing in the sun but after a couple of years my son thought I should join him and my sweet daughter-in-law in a home business that we could work together and it has been great. We have partnered with a company that allows us the flexibility to work the hours that we choose, with a 3 second commute to our home office. I have the privilege of working with my husband everyday as we run our business together. We enjoy the friendships created as we have teamed up with other like-minded business partners. I am also active in Community service including the following activities: Member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1969 President of Soroptimist International of Boise, non profit service organization in 2001-2002 and current member. Part of the Habitat for Humanity Home built by an all women team including Patricia Kempthorn in 2000 Organized and participated in many yearly "Make a Difference Day" Projects and the "Random Acts Of Kindness" Project. I was not raised to believe in the importance of community service but after spending the first 40 years looking for happiness with the bank account, the wardrobe, & the automobile I felt perhaps there might still be something missing. I hadn't really learned to give to others. It doesn't matter what you have if you don't know how to give so I've spent the last 25 years working on being a better person, friend, community supporter and hopefully in the end I will make God proud of my achievements as a person. I must admit this is not always an easy task. I usually start over daily but I guess that is why we call it trial and error.

Let’s look at the big picture of detoxification. I’ve dealt with toxins in my own body and I've found these to be the four steps to detox:

1. Avoid

Avoidance is the least sexy way to detox but the most important! If you can avoid toxins from getting in your body, it’s a whole lot easier than trying to get them out of your body later.

You can’t 100% avoid toxins, but you can greatly reduce your exposure. The biggest source of exposure are in your home, where you spend the most time. So we’ll focus there in the training to come.

2. Support

Your body already knows how to detox. The organs of detoxification- kidneys, skin, liver and intestines- need nutrition, rest, movement and hydration to do their jobs.

You are probably already doing a lot of things right in this category, but there are tweaks you can make to process toxins like a champ.

3. Mobilize

Mobilization includes things like the morning drink I taught you earlier, chelation therapy, sauna therapy, colon hydrotherapy, lymphatic massage and more.

Mobilization is all about getting toxins out of their hiding places so your body can remove them. But you absolutely have to honor the other steps, or you are wasting your efforts, and possibly endangering your health. We’ll talk more about the dangers of certain detox programs in future emails, so stay tuned.

4. Bind

Toxin binders are substances that bind with toxins either through their web-like structure or through a negative charge. They include things like clays, charcoal and ionic foot baths.

Binders also need to be used with caution, so don’t run out and buy any yet! We’ll cover how to use them in future articles.

There are companies that have toxic free products. Here is one example:

Our Mission: To Enhance the Lives of Those We Touch by Helping People Reach Their Goals. Before we opened our doors on September 1, 1985, our founder, Frank VanderSloot, established our Mission Statement. This was to make sure that our focus is always on helping people rather than the typical corpor...
