In 2006 a back injury robbed me of my career, home in beautiful Alpharetta, GA and I had to move back in with my parents. I became depressed gained 50+ pounds and was taking twice a day 6-9 Rx drugs to function. I was hospitalized in 2012 after a erroneous medical diagnosis and Rx drug reaction that dropped my heart rate & blood pressure so low that if my body had not forced me to get up to urinate (my kidneys were shutting down) I would have died alone in my bed in the basement. In February 2012 after this mortifying experience I decided to take my life & health back into my own hands & out of my doctor & big pharmacy's. My best friend Toni t kept asking me to watch Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. I finally watched it & began juicing 4-5 days a week 1 meal a day.
