Your child’s school could be the hidden source of their symptoms… and you’d never know.

Mold in schools is a HUGE but overlooked issue. 🏫

Why? Because mold hides in:
👉 Old HVAC systems
👉 Water-damaged ceiling tiles
👉 Bathrooms and locker rooms
👉 Portable classrooms

And kids are extra sensitive.

Mold exposure in children has been linked to:
1️⃣ Chronic runny nose or cough
2️⃣ Headaches
3️⃣ Brain fog or trouble focusing
4️⃣ Fatigue
5️⃣ Anxiety and mood swings
6️⃣ Histamine flare-ups

What you can do as a parent 👇

🗓️ Pay attention to patterns. Do symptoms improve on weekends or breaks? That’s a red flag.
🤔 Ask questions. Schools should test for indoor air quality and remediate water damage quickly.
🛁 Support detox gently at home. Air purifiers, Epsom salt baths, vitamin C, and adequate sleep can help.
🩺 Talk to a functional medicine practitioner if you suspect mold, especially if symptoms aren’t explained by allergies or infections.

Your child deserves a safe place to learn and grow. 💜

Do leftovers make you feel awful? 🤢

It's not your imagination!

It's the 24-hour histamine build up. Basically what happens is that when food sits in the fridge, histamine levels keep rising, even if it’s “fresh enough” by normal standards. For those with histamine intolerance, yesterday’s chicken or reheated veggies can trigger all the uncomfortable symptoms (hives, headaches, etc. etc.)

There are, however, ways to do leftovers safely (though I always recommend fresh when possible!):

✔️ Eat cooked meals within 24 hours.
✔️ Store in airtight, glass containers (no plastic!)
✔️ If you can't eat it quickly enough, freeze it instead and reheat straight from frozen.

I totally get it, sometimes leftovers are just what we need to do, but when possible, here's what I recommend:

✨ Cook smaller portions so you're not stuck with the extras.
✨ Batch prep the actual ingredients instead of the meal (chopping veggies but leaving them uncooked until you're ready to eat).
✨ Make quick meals that can use those prepped elements: salads, stir-frys, or protein bowls.

Supplements like vitamin C (500-1,000 mg/day), DAO (taken right before meals), and quercetin (250-500 mg/day) can also help.

So you start detoxing mold… and then BOOM: hives, dizziness, anxiety, rashes, insomnia.

It feels like you’re going backward. Thankfully, you're not, but here's what can help in the meantime:

Space out binders (like charcoal or bentonite clay) once daily at first, away from food/meds, and build up only as tolerated.
Limit sauna sessions to 10–15 minutes, 2–3x per week instead of daily.

✨ Rebounding (2–5 minutes of gentle bouncing)
✨ Dry brushing before showers
✨ Apply a castor oil pack 3–4 nights a week for just a few minutes at first.
✨ Aim for half your body weight in ounces of water per day.
✨ Add electrolytes to your water to prevent dizziness and fatigue.
✨ Molybdenum (250 mcg 1-2 times a day)
✨ Quercetin (250–500 mg, 1–2x per day)
✨ Stinging nettle tea can calm histamine release.
✨ Prioritize 8–9 hours of quality sleep (no electronics before bed, a cool room, etc.)
✨ Don’t push through when your body is telling you to slow down.

Feeling worse before you feel better is common. It just means your body is moving toxins out.

The key is pacing and supporting the process so symptoms don’t overwhelm you.

You didn’t suddenly become allergic to strawberries. 🍓

Or avocado. 🥑
Or that random snack you’ve eaten your whole life without a problem. 🍔

Here’s what’s actually happening ⬇️

When you’re dealing with mold exposure (one of the most commone MCAS triggers), the toxins can keep your mast cells in a constant “on” position.

Meaning they release histamine and other chemicals when they sense a threat... even if there isn't one.

That means your body can suddenly react to perfectly healthy foods you’ve always tolerated.

It’s not the food’s fault, it’s that your mast cells are overreacting because mold has them wired for danger 24/7.

This is why you might notice:
👉 Itchy skin or hives after certain meals
👉 New food sensitivities popping up every month
👉 Flare-ups that seem totally random

Thankfully the key isn’t to cut every food forever.

The best course of action is to calm the mast cells and address the mold at the root.

Because guess what...

Once your immune system is less triggered, many of these “allergies” disappear.

What foods have you reacted to that you've never had a rection to before?

I used to struggle with probiotics for YEARS… 😣

Every time I tried them, I’d get:

💨 Bloating & constipation
😵 Brain fog
😣 Headaches
🔥 Flushing
😵‍💫 Anxiety

It turns out I was using high-histamine strains that were literally making me feel worse.

Once I switched to histamine-neutral strains (like those in spore-based, Just Thrive), everything changed. No more bloating, no more constipation… just gut support that actually worked for me. 💜

If you’ve ever felt worse on probiotics, it could be the strains, not you. Start slow, track your symptoms, and consider histamine-neutral options.

Feel worse when it rains?

It's not in your head!

Here’s what’s going on ⬇️

Damp weather creates the perfect environment for mold growth both outside and inside your home. When mold releases spores, you breathe them in… and that can trigger your histamine system.

For those of us with histamine intolerance or mast cell issues, this means:
👉 More inflammation
👉 More fatigue
👉 More sinus pressure
👉 More brain fog

It’s not in your head. It’s in your environment.

The best thing you can do?

Support your body before, during, and after the weather shifts:
✅ Keep your indoor humidity under 50%
✅ Run an air purifier with a HEPA filter
✅ Use gentle, consistent detox support

Is this something you've noticed happens to you when it rains?

Save this for the next rainy day. 🌧️

If you have the MTHFR gene mutation and histamine intolerance… you know that supporting methylation can be tricky.

Go too fast, and you can end up with:
⚡ Anxiety
⚡ Insomnia
⚡ Histamine flares

The key? Start low, go slow.

Instead of jumping into high-dose methylfolate or B12, build a foundation first:

1️⃣ Support histamine clearance with nutrients like vitamin C, magnesium, and zinc
2️⃣ Add gentle cofactors like B2 and P5P
3️⃣ Introduce methyl donors in tiny amounts
4️⃣ Optimize with creatine & phosphatidylcholine

This step-by-step approach helps you support your body’s detox and methylation pathways without overwhelming them — so you can actually feel better.

So many types of probiotics aren’t safe if you have histamine intolerance or MCAS 🚫

Many common strains can produce histamine in the gut — leading to symptoms like:

✅ Bloating
✅ Headaches
✅ Itching or flushing
✅ Anxiety

That’s why I use Just Thrive Probiotic.
It’s spore-based, histamine-safe, survives stomach acid, and helps restore a healthy gut without triggering inflammation.

If you’ve been struggling with gut issues, histamine symptoms, or food sensitivities… this could be the missing link 💡

✔️ You’ve cleaned up your diet
✔️ Swallowed a small fortune in supplements
✔️ Followed every protocol to the letter...

But you still feel awful.

Here’s why that might be happening ⬇️

Most of the people my team works with are doing so many things right! They're just missing one thing...

🧪 The right testing. Without it, you could be missing:

👉 Gut infections like Clostridia and Klebsiella that fuel histamine reactions
👉 Mold toxins like gliotoxin that stay hidden for years
👉 Inflammation markers your doctor never checks
👉 Hormone imbalances that trigger monthly migraines, anxiety, and fatigue
👉 Cortisol patterns that show your body is stuck in survival

This isn’t about trying harder.

It’s about finally getting the right data.

Because you're not broken, you're not crazy, and the effort you're putting in does make a difference!

Feeling tired all. the. time?

Of course. You're healing. Your body is doing SO MUCH for you.

So, if you’re eating clean, trying to rest, maybe even taking the “right” supplements... your energy might still fall flat.

Here’s the thing ⬇️

When you’re dealing with histamine issues, mold, hormone imbalance, or nervous system dysregulation, your body needs more than sleep (and caffeine 👀 ).

It needs steady, gentle support throughout the day.

Here’s what I actually use when I feel my energy dipping:

✨ PEMF mat sessions to calm inflammation and boost mitochondrial function
✨ Red light therapy or natural sunlight to recharge your cells
✨ High-protein snacks to stabilize blood sugar and histamine
✨ Short movement breaks to get lymph moving and reset your nervous system

Energy isn’t just about getting more rest. It’s about removing what’s draining you and consistently supporting what helps you recharge. 💜
