Romanian Deadlifts are all about the hinge, pushing the hips back, keeping the bar close, controlling the tempo, and loading your hamstrings and glutes without dumping into your lower back. Small shifts in bar path, spine position, or knee bend can completely change what you feel (and what you’re actually training).

If carbs were the problem, this would’ve worked by now.
You’ve cut them. You’ve feared them. You’ve blamed them.

And yet… nothing sticks.

Because carbs aren’t the issue.

For most active women, 35–50% of your calories should come from quality carbohydrate sources. Especially if you’re strength training, walking lots, or trying to build muscle and change your body composition.

The problem isn’t carbs.

It’s portion sizes that don’t match your goals.
It’s skipping meals all day and then overeating at night.
It’s not getting enough protein.
It’s meals with zero balance between carbs, fats, and protein.
It’s eating “perfect” Monday to Friday and blowing it out on the weekend.

And more than anything?

It’s a lack of structure, and a lack of consistency.

Because consistency with balanced meals will beat carb-cutting every single time.

Here’s what actually works:
✔️ Aim for 35–50% of intake from quality carbs
✔️ Pair them with protein and healthy fats to stabilize blood sugar
✔️ Eat consistently throughout the day so you’re not raiding the pantry at 9pm

Quality carb sources:

• Potatoes (white, red, and sweet)
• Rice
• Oats
• Quinoa
• Whole grain breads & wraps
• Beans & lentils
• Greek yogurt
• Fruit
• And for the love of all things… vegetables (yes, they’re carbs too)

When you balance carbs with protein and fats, you support:

– Energy
– Hormone function
– Muscle building
– Recovery
– Sustainable fat loss

Carbs aren’t ruining your progress.
