What does living your yoga mean to you?

This is something that is often overlooked in the western world where yoga is thought of as only asana, or the physical practice.

It’s important to remember that there is far more than the physical and having an “advanced practice” is not defined by whether or not you can do a handstand.

Who needs a shower steamer when you have essential oils?

Certified therapeutic grade essential oils are a sweet little luxury to add to your daily routine. One of the ways I love using them most is in the shower for a luxurious experience.

Here are 4 essential oils that work GREAT in the shower!

•Lavender— for your evening rinse, melt away your stress and prepare your body for rest with one of the most relaxing scents ever. It’s a classic for a reason.

•Eucalyptus— to open and clear your airways, invite a couple of drops and let this medicinal oil work its magic.

•Peppermint— for an afternoon refresh after breaking a sweat, this cooling oil will leave you feeling lighter and fresh.

•Rose— add a couple drops the next time you need a little pick me up with a boost of self love. As a bonus, you can also rinse your hair with this oil for healthy hair.
