Even monsters need a pit stop. 🚐💨

The Worley’s World on Wheels van had a little breakdown recently (apparently too much monster energy for the engine 😂).

But don’t worry — he’s patched up, back on the road, and ready to roll out more family fun.

Because nothing keeps this monster crew down for long. 👾

Right… confession. I had my heart set on a Hub cheese scone + butter last week. Then Holly asked if I wanted chutney and my whole brain went “NOT IN THE PLAN” 🤯. Anyone else’s Tism brain do this? 😂

Anyway — chutney or no chutney, the Hub café is the place to be on 30th October. £5 gets you + your kid a ticket into our monster world, plus a sweet treat and some proper connection time.

Come hang out. It’s gonna be playful chaos in the best way.

👉 Anyone else already got tickets?

Your child’s meltdown isn’t random. It’s their nervous system sending an urgent email. 📧

📌 Loud noise = “too much input!”
📌 Scratchy jumper = “danger, discomfort!”
📌 Sibling snatching toy = “threat detected!”

Problem is… kids don’t type theirs out in neat sentences. They scream them out instead.

💡 Next time big feelings show up, try a sensory reset:
👂 Turn down sound (noise-cancelling headphones).
👃 Offer a calming smell (lavender, favourite snack).
👀 Change the view (step outside, dim lights).

You don’t need to fix every email. Just show your child you’ve read it. That’s what regulation looks like.

💜✨ Thank you for being part of our journey! ✨💜

Over the years, your likes, comments, shares (and even quiet views 👀) have helped Worley’s World grow and reach thousands of families. We’re so grateful for every bit of support — you’ve helped make big feelings easier to talk about! 🌈👾

We’re now working with our social media content crew on an exciting rebrand.

We’re not changing who we are, what we do, or what we stand for — just streamlining so it’s even clearer and easier for families and professionals to connect with what we offer.

👉 In the meantime, come follow us on our new pages to keep seeing monster magic and emotional language tools:

🎨 Got 5 minutes + a pack of crayons? You’ve got a game that teaches co-regulation AND burns off rainy-day wiggles.

✨ Monster Colour Hunt ✨
1️⃣ Pick a colour monster (draw, print, or just name one).
2️⃣ Send your kid hunting for 3 things in the room with that colour.
3️⃣ Switch roles — they pick, you hunt.

Why it works: when kids are in meltdown mode, spotting colours pulls their brain back into the here and now. It’s play + regulation rolled into one.

👾 Monsters say: don’t fight the feelings, guide them through.

Save this one for your “we’re stuck indoors” days. 🌧️

You know that classic “wrong colour spoon” meltdown? Yep, had it here. And honestly, it used to make me want to cry too 🙃.

But when I started treating those moments as messages not mayhem… it changed things. Instead of “why are you being so dramatic?” it became “okay, your nervous system is shouting at me — what do you need?”

It didn’t fix every tantrum (we’re human, not robots) but it helped me feel less like I was failing. That’s the real shift. 💜

👉 Drop your family’s silliest meltdown trigger below — let’s compare notes.

👻✨ Spooky season is here… but not everyone wants (or can cope with) jump scares and loud noises.

That’s why at Worley’s World, our friendly monsters always come first. 🧡 We’ve got:
✅ Fun without forced spooky
✅ A quiet space for anyone who needs a breather
✅ An atmosphere where belonging is the real magic

Because inclusion means making sure every family feels safe enough to join in.

✨ Monster magic (without the overwhelm)

…then now’s the time to book your tickets and join the fun! 🎟️

🎉 Big girl pants = ON.

This week I visited The Hub for a little break, then headed down the road for some networking. And yep — I even introduced myself to Liz Twist, the local MP!

It’s not always easy putting yourself out there, but when it’s about building safe, connected spaces for families, it feels worth the wobble.

Here’s to small steps (and the big ones they lead to). 🚀

➡️ What’s the last “big pants” moment you had?

🎨👀 Need 10 minutes of calm AND connection? Try a Colour Hunt!

Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Pick a colour (red, blue… or rainbow socks 🌈)
2️⃣ Everyone runs off to find one thing that matches.
3️⃣ Take turns choosing the next colour.

✨ Why it works:
• Gets wiggly kids moving in a safe, focused way.
• Doubles as a sneaky home-ed prompt (sorting, naming, noticing).
• Perfect for helping a busy brain back into the “green zone” when emotions are running high.

And because I couldn’t resist — I even used my Rainbow Rebels logo as the image for this post. (Yes… I made a whole Facebook group called Rainbow Rebels too because, well, that’s me 😂🌈).

Play doesn’t have to be fancy. Sometimes the simplest games bring the biggest reset. 💚

Save this for the next time your house feels like chaos!

☕💬 Ever noticed how a community café isn’t just about coffee?

It’s the kind of place where you can rock up messy-haired, wrangling small humans, and still feel welcome. No raised eyebrows. No awkward stares. Just: “Come in, you’re safe here.”

That’s the same heart behind The Hub. 🧡
We celebrate differences, make space for all kinds of needs, and create somewhere families can exhale instead of bracing for judgment.

Because when kids (and grown-ups!) feel like they belong, connection becomes possible. And connection changes everything.

➡️ Where’s your go-to “safe space” in the community?

🌞 “Come back with Worley!” → That’s the feedback we loved hearing this summer.
Our Summer Hub gave families connection, creativity, and co-regulation in action. One parent shared:
✨ “This has been perfect for our home ed journey — fun, portfolio-friendly, and stress-free.”
That’s what Worley’s World is all about: playful learning that feels good, works for your family, and helps kids grow skills that actually matter.
🎒 Keep an eye out — new hubs and resources are coming soon.
